2 is Dear STEM Ambassador, We are delighted to bring you September s Inside STEM. With schools settling back into the new term following the summer holidays, there are plenty of opportunities and we hope you will find something of interest. There is a wide range of activities at both Primary and Secondary schools, and you can attend or support teacher CPD courses, and get involved with local science festivals. For more information and teacher/organiser contact details for any of the opportunities included in this issue, please ambassadors@dundeesciencecentre.org.uk or call Remember; Always keep us informed about activities you are planning to be involved with. This ensures you will be covered by STEMNET s insurance and will allow us to update your profile with the activity. In order to remain an active STEM Ambassador you must participate in at least one voluntary activity a year, although you are welcome to take part in more. Tell us what you thought of your experience. This will help us monitor and improve the programme, please complete this short evaluation. Finally, as a valued partner of Dundee Science Centre, we are delighted to offer FREE admission to 'approved' STEM Ambassadors, during standard admission times. Why not come along and see our new Myths & Monsters exhibition? If you would like to meet up with a member of the team whilst you are here, just or call in advance. You could also consider letting Dundee Science Centre be your host for corporate or organisational awards ceremonies, or Christmas function this year. Dundee Science Centre can offer a distinctive, versatile and unique experience. Visit our website; or contact the events team to find out more; by ing events@dundeesciencecentre.org.uk or by calling We hope you will find an opportunity of interest, and look forward to hearing from you soon Kind regards, Julia Mackay STEM Programmes Manager Rebecca MacLennan Science Learning Officer STEM Programmes
