4 Autumn in San Diego The month of November makes a gradual shift to slightly cooler, wetter weather in San Diego, yet this is San Diego s sunniest month of the year. Daily highs average from 70 F to 77 F over the course of the month, exceeding 85 F or dropping below 60 F only one day in ten days. Daily low temperatures range from 53 F to 59 F. The probability that some form of precipitation will be observed on a given day very low, as the average precipitation for the month is 1. We suggest bringing a light jacket to account for the breeze off the ocean. Winds typically average 5.9 mph, but November is one of the less windy months.
