Highly ornate, these oxcarts are elegantly craved and are usually hand-painted with bright colors. The painting of the ox cart is a Costa Rican tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. Today most of the ox carts in Costa Rica are used as ornate decoration as well as symbols of Costa Rica in celebrations and parades. The largest and oldest oxcart factory is also found in Sarchi. The Joaquin Chaverri Oxcart Factory was built in 1902, and is considered to be the birthplace of oxcart handicrafts in Costa Rica. Also, widely found throughout town are dozens of wooden furniture and souvenir stores that sell everything from beautifully decorated bowls and trays to intricately carved wooden utensils, jewelry and masks. 99 PORT OF CALL: PUNTARENAS & CALDERA. Greenway Tours operate tours from both piers. Puntarenas pier is located in the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica and right in front of the City. From the Capital City San Jose, this pier is located at 60 miles and 90 minutes driving distance. It is a small narrow pier that can accommodate 2 cruise ships at the time. From the cruise ship s gangway to the main entrance the walking distance is only 300 feet. Once at the main street, the passengers can visit the picturesque city, with many Bars & Restaurants along the Paseo de los Turistas Boulevard. This pier is operated by the Costa Rican Government under the administration of INCOP, a public institution. This pier is exclusive for the attention of cruise ships and only authorized companies as Greenway Tours can have access to it. Mostly of the cruise ships dock in Puntarenas, but few docks in Puerto Caldera. Puerto Caldera is another pier, but it is located about 10 miles from Puntarenas City. It is under the administration of a private company and for this reason sometimes it is more difficult to have access to it. It is important to keep in mind that even some cruise lines indicate Caldera as a port of call, at the end they dock in Puntarenas. This is the case of Holland America. Puerto Caldera is more used for Cargo Ships. In case Greenway Tours do not have access to this port, mostly of the times the port s company offer a shuttle bus service from the ship to the main gate, where our staff and buses will be waiting for the passengers. Only few ships during the season dock at this port.

129 TERMS & CONDITIONS SHORE EXCURSIONS CANCELLATION POLICY: FOR SHORE EXCURSIONS: Free cancellation within 72 hours notice. Less than 71 hours notice the tour will be charged in full. IMPORTANT NOTICE: No last-minute changes are accepted to the programs during the tour development and there are not refunds for partial services not taken. Last minute changes are paid on your own and Greenway Tours do not assume any responsibility in case something happens with different suppliers not booked by our company. If a passenger requires to cancel a reservation less than 24 hours in advance, Greenway Tours gives the option of changing the date of service, but only if the tour is a regular one. In the case of "NO SHOW" the service will be charged according to our regular fees. Greenway tours will wait 15 minutes for a passenger after the specific pick up time. CRUISE PASSENGERS: PUNTARENAS OR LIMON SHORE EXCURSIONS. 12. After the agreement with the customer, Greenway Tours will send by the Confirmation Form indicating details about the tour departure time and meeting instructions. Greenway Tours work with SHIP TIME in order to avoid confusions with pick up times. 13. For cruise passengers we will wait for the necessary time if there are delays with the docking procedures or clearance by the local authorities. In case that the ship can t dock due really bad weather conditions or any special reason, we guarantee to all of our customers a FULL REFUND. However, if the ship docks, trips operate rain or shine and we can t accept last minute cancellations due normal rainy conditions. 14. Greenway Tours will wait 15 minutes for a passenger after the specific Pick Up time. After this time, the tour will leave, and the client will be charged as NO SHOW. 15. Meeting Instructions: You will meet our staff inside at the cruise pier. As you disembark your ship, you will pass through security. Immediately after that, look for a representative of Greenway Tours, holding a sign with your party s name. In the case the customer denied signing it up, the company could take the decision to exclude the client from that specific activity and explore a substitute activity.

Políticas de Reservaciones y Cancelaciones One Day Tours from San Jose Greenway Nature Tours opera todos sus One Day Tours en Base Privada y con un mínimo de 2 pasajeros. Las reservaciones se deben de realizar con un mínimo de 24 horas para coordinar la operación. Para reservaciones de último minuto, se deberá hacer la consulta a la oficina para poder confirmar disponibilidad. 1- Para garantizar las reservaciones se solicita el envío de un correo electrónico con todos los datos del pasajero y el prepago correspondiente a info@greenwaytours.com. Para consulta de disponibilidad y reservaciones vía teléfono por favor llamar a los teléfonos +(506) / +(506) Los pagos de reservaciones se pueden realizar por depósito bancario o vía telefónica con la información de tarjeta de crédito del cliente. 3- Toda indicación especial en cuanto al pasajero que nos es remitido debe de estar por escrito en el correo de reservación correspondiente. (Ejemplos: Cambios de fecha, cambios de hotel, especificaciones sobre la alimentación del pasajero etc.) 4- La agencia que realice una reservación siempre debe exigir una confirmación escrita de la misma como garantía del servicio a nuestro departamento de reservaciones. Este documento indicara toda la información referente al tour como descripción completa, lugar de salida, hora de salida, inclusiones y otros. 5- Si en alguna ocasión se indica que Greenway Nature Tours debe cobrarle al cliente, en caso de "no show" la agencia que realiza la reservación asume la responsabilidad total obligándose a pagar la tarifa normal del servicio. 6- Toda cancelación de tours regulares se debe realizar con más de 24 horas de anticipación a la hora de salida del tour, por escrito, para que no se le aplique ningún recargo. 7- Desde el momento en que Greenway Nature Tours confirma una reservación, se hace responsable de operar dicho servicio. Consecuentemente toda cancelación de un tour con menos de 24 horas tendrá un cargo del 100 % inevitablemente. Si por fuerza mayor el pasajero necesita cancelar su reservación con una anticipación de menos de 24 horas, lo que se podría permitir es un cambio de fecha del servicio, previa consulta con nuestra oficina. 8- En caso de NO SHOW no se harán devoluciones de montos previamente pagados.

133 TERMINOS Y CONDICIONES PARA SHORE EXCURSIONS (TOURS CRUCEROS) GREENWAY NATURE TOURS es una Tour Operadora independiente de la oficina de excursiones del crucero. No asuma que su excursión en tierra se cancela si el mostrador de excursiones del barco cancela su propia actividad. NUESTROS TOURS SON OPERADOS CON HORA LOCAL. Tenga en cuenta que en Costa Rica existe cierta confusión sobre la hora del barco y la hora local. Consulte con la recepción para aclarar si su barco cambia su hora a la hora local para que no se pierda su excursión. Como cada barco es gobernado por su capitán, es su responsabilidad confirmarlo mientras navega. UTILIZAMOS TIEMPO DE PUERTO LOCAL Y DEBE CONSULTARLO ANTES DE DESEMBARCAR. Si está confundido con respecto a la hora y se presentó una hora antes, no se queje con la guía. POR FAVOR, LEA LAS INSTRUCCIONES DE SU CONFIRMACION CUIDADOSAMENTE. PERDIDO Y ENCONTRADO: Asegúrese de tener todas sus pertenencias cuando complete su recorrido. Greenway Tours no se hace responsable de los artículos que se dejen perdidos. En caso de que algunos artículos sean olvidados en el bus o algún punto de la excursión y usted solicita una pronta devolución por correo, los costos de envío deberán ser cancelados por el cliente, no la agencia. POLÍTICA DE CANCELACIÓN: Usted puede cancelar su excursión dentro de los 11 días anteriores a la fecha del viaje por cualquier motivo y recibir su reembolso. A los 10 días anteriores a la fecha del viaje, no habrá reembolsos por ninguna cancelación, excepto si el viaje no puede realizarse debido a que el crucero no realiza el viaje o si las condiciones impiden que el crucero llegue a puerto. Si tuvo un problema con su viaje, debe informarnos dentro de los 12 días posteriores a la fecha del viaje. El viajero debe notificar a Greenway Tours por escrito (se aceptan correos electrónicos) dentro de los 12 días posteriores a la fecha del viaje de cualquier circunstancia que deba resultar en el reembolso del dinero pagado. Las reservas grupales pueden no ser reembolsables si el precio del viaje se basa en un número específico de participantes. Las reservas diseñadas a medida siempre tendrán una penalización no reembolsable de $ 25 por persona por cancelaciones realizadas en cualquier momento después de que se haya confirmado la reserva y cargado la tarjeta de crédito. DISPUTA DE TARJETAS DE CRÉDITO: Los clientes que disputan un cargo de tarjeta de crédito de Greenway Tours presentando un aviso de devolución de cargo con sus compañías de tarjetas de crédito se les cobrará una tarifa administrativa de $ 25 (por aviso de contra-cargo) por Greenway Tours si el reembolso se rige a favor de Greenway Tours por la institución financiera. Antes de presentar una disputa, recomendamos contactarnos para discutir la disputa. Si tuvo un problema con su viaje, debe informarnos dentro de los 12 días posteriores a la fecha del viaje CUENTA DE PREPAGO Y PAGO POR TRANSFERENCIA: Los pagos se pueden realizar por medio de tarjeta de crédito. Si prefiere pagar mediante depósito bancario, comuníquese con nuestra oficina principal para obtener información adicional. CONFIRMACIONES: 1. Para garantizar la reserva, la información sobre el pasajero debe enviarse por correo electrónico, y el pago debe hacerse máximo 5 días después de la confirmación, excluyendo los casos en los que el cliente ya está cumpliendo con las regulaciones sobre crédito de nuestro Departamento de Contabilidad. 2. Cualquier información especial sobre el pasajero debe indicarse en la reservación y enviarse por correo electrónico al momento de programar la reserva. 3. La agencia o cliente que hace una reservación debe requerir una confirmación por escrito de nuestro Departamento de Reservas, como garantía de los servicios, donde se indican todos los detalles del tour, lugar de salida, hora de salida y recomendaciones. 5. La agencia o el cliente que programa la reserva puede solicitar a Greenway Tours el pago directamente en el momento de la recogida. Sin embargo, la agencia o el cliente debe asumir la responsabilidad total en el caso de "no presentarse" de cualquier participante pagando la tarifa completa a Greenway Tours. 6. En el caso de "NO SHOW", el servicio se cobrará en su totalidad. 7. Greenway Tours esperará 10 minutos para un pasajero después de la hora específica de recogida indicada en el formulario de confirmación. Después de este tiempo, la excursión se irá y se cobrará al cliente como NO SHOW. 8. Greenway Tours esperará por el tiempo necesario si hay demoras con los procedimientos de atraque o autorización de las autoridades locales. En caso de que el barco no pueda atracar debido a condiciones climáticas realmente malas o por algún motivo especial, garantizamos a todos nuestros clientes un REEMBOLSO COMPLETO sin ningún cargo de penalización. Sin embargo, si el barco atraca, los viajes serán operados con lluvia o sol y no podemos aceptar cancelaciones de último momento debido a condiciones de lluvia normales y que no afectan nuestras operaciones.

134 NIÑOS. 9. Los pasajeros de 5 a 10 años se consideran niños y en algunas opciones de viaje aplican tarifas especiales. Sin embargo, algunas opciones pueden no aplicar las tarifas de los niños debido a sus operaciones especiales con es el tour de Canopy. 10. Los pasajeros mayores de 11 años pagarán la tarifa normal para adultos. 11. Los pasajeros menores de 4 años se consideran bebés y no pagan ninguna tarifa. Los padres asumirán sus gastos y proporcionarán sus comidas. OTRAS POLÍTICAS: 12. Greenway Tours se reserva el derecho de cambiar la ruta o el programa original de cualquier recorrido si esto se considera beneficioso para el cliente y debido a situaciones especiales o circunstancias fuera de nuestro control que pueden afectar el funcionamiento del recorrido o la integridad física de nuestros clientes. Greenway Tours se reserva el derecho de excluir a cualquier participante en el recorrido si su comportamiento es impropio o perjudicial para el bienestar del grupo. 13. En algunos casos, Greenway Tours actúa como agente y requiere servicios externos de hoteles, operadores turísticos, restaurantes, etc. En estos casos, sus pólizas de seguro y cancelación tienen prioridad sobre nosotros. Sin embargo, nuestros vehículos tienen la mejor cobertura de seguro permitida por el gobierno costarricense y un seguro adicional para los operadores turísticos. 14. En algunos tours, como rafting, canopy, caminatas en los árboles, etc., Greenway Nature Tours o nuestros proveedores solicitarán al cliente que complete y firme una exención. En el caso de que el cliente haya denegado la suscripción, la empresa podría tomar la decisión de excluir al cliente de esa actividad específica y explorar una actividad sustitutiva. GREENWAY NATURE TOURS, como empresa de turismo reconocida, actúa solo como agente del pasajero en relación con el viaje, ya sea en automóvil, autocar, barco o avión, y no asume ninguna responsabilidad durante el viaje por lesiones, daños, pérdidas, accidentes o retrasos. o irregularidad que puede ocasionarse por defecto en cualquier vehículo o por cualquier persona de la compañía que se dedique a cubrir al pasajero o en la realización de los arreglos del recorrido. El derecho está reservado para cancelar o sustituir paradas en cualquier recorrido sin previo aviso, y para utilizar los servicios de compañías afiliadas según se considere necesario.
