2 Summary Colorado Revised Statute Title 39, Taxation, Specific Taxes, Severance Tax (3) requires, The executive director of the department of local affairs shall deliver to the state auditor and file with the general assembly annually before February 1 a detailed report accounting for the distribution of all funds for the previous year. In response to the statutory requirement, attached are the 2016 calendar year distributions from severance dollars through discretionary grants and formulaic direct distributions.
