2 Nagpur Key Attraction Nagpur, the winter capital of the state of Maharashtra is also the largest city in central India. Popularly known as "Orange City", it is home to one of the juiciest varieties of Oranges which are grown in its several orchards in and around the city. Nagpur also leaves its mark as the center of India which is identified with the "Zero Mile" marker. Nagpur - literally meaning "The abode of serpent God Nag" is named so after the River Nag which flows through a serpentine path through the city. This is further stamped by on the city's postal stamp which has the image of a snake on it. It was said by the great Dr. B.R Ambedkar, that the people of Nagpur belonged to the Nag Dynasty, who were followers of Lord Buddha. The present day city was founded by Bhakt Buland, an erstwhile prince of the region in 18th century. Nagpur is renowned for its rich heritage & is known as a cultural, commercial, political and industrial centre in the Maratha region. Crowned with an illustrious history, the present day Nagpur is one of the power centers of Indian and Maratha politics. With the headquarters of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at Reshimbagh, Nagpur is hub of the political activities in the state. Nagpur is also famous for its education centers. It is renowned for its universities and an elite group of scholar communities who have come out shining from add to its list of credits. 4 Park & one of the main castle towers of this park, containing canons, gun ports, and turrets. Canons embellish on the top of it. Eight different slides come up together & meets in the landing pool area in front of the Castle or in the side of the Castle. THE GREAT BANYAN FOOD COURT: The Great Banyan Food Court is near to Splash Tower, placed centre of this Aqua Park provides for the much needed snack breaks for the guests of the park. This court is made in the shape of a typical Great Banyan Tree and reflects the size and girth of Nature in its entire splendor.

5 PENDULUM SLIDE: This slide gives a new experience below water. This Fish is situated on the top about 35 ft in height and has a span of 100 feet, it filled 1000 ltrs. Water filled and tilts upside down every 5 minutes and empties entire 1000 ltrs. Water in one stroke which give a thrilling experience which stops after gradually loosing momentum. COLUMBUS: This Ride swing up & down,the sitting arrangement is for 50 to 60 people. 6 Pench in Madhya Pradesh is renowned for its rich flora and fauna. Flanked by the pretty ambience of the majestic Pench River, Pench is naturally blessed with abundance of lush greenery. Positioned in the Seoni district of southern Madhya Pradesh, this locale shares its border with Maharashtra. Flora in Pench National Park It is blessed with forests spread in all the direction. As per general physiognomy, the forest type here is southern tropical dry deciduous teak and southern tropical mixed deciduous forest with other species of shrubs, trees, and climbers. 7 Fauna in Pench National Park The park is very rich in fauna and a number of endangered species have made it their habitat. There is high density of the wild pig, nilgai, chital, muntjac, gaur and four horned antelope. Sighting a tiger is as difficult here as in the other national parks in the country and it needs a lot of patience and luck to sight one. Apart from mammals and other land-based wildlife, the park is also rich in bird life. According to an estimation of the wildlife authorities, the bird population in the park stands at over 125 species like barbets, bulbuls, minivets orioles, wagtails, munias, mynas, waterfowls, and blue kingfishers. The Pench River, water streams, and nallahs provide the best playground for the water birds of this region. They are also the habitat for crocodiles and fresh water turtles. Wildlife in Pench National Park The area is especially famous for large herds of Gaur (Indian Bison), Cheetal, Sambar, Nilgai, Wild Dog and Wild Pig. The key predator is the Tiger followed by Leopard, Wild Dog and Wolf. Other animals include Sloth Bear, Chousingha, Chinkara, Barking Deer, Jackal, Fox, Palm Civet, Small Indian Civet, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Porcupine etc.

8 Birding in Pench National Park There are over 285 species of resident and migratory birds including the Malabar Pied Hornbill, Indian Pitta, Osprey, Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, White-eyed Buzzard, etc. In winter thousands of migratory waterfowl including Brahmini Duck, Pochards, Barheaded Geese, Coots, etc visit the tanks and the Pench reservoir within the Park. Pench Tiger Reserve is also among the best areas for bird watching. Four species of the now endangered vultures white-rumped, longbilled, white scavenger and king vulture can be seen in good numbers in the Reserve. The other fauna present include 50 species of fishes, 10 amphibians, 30 reptiles, 45 butterflies, 54 moths and numerous other insects
