4 Advent Magic in Lucerne On the 1st December the festively decorated Christmas city of Lucerne will be lit up especially beautifully. «Live on Ice at the KKL Luzern» will be opening in front of the KKL Luzern, and the internationally renowned light artist Gerry Hofstetter will be bringing a gleam to the eyes of young and old with his light art! From 1st December 2nd January 2012 on Europaplatz let yourself be enchanted by the Christmas atmosphere with Christmas trees and strings of lights and glide merrily through Advent on ice-skates. On the 1st December between and 20.00, the internationally renowned light artist Gerry Hofstetter will be showing the facade of the Jesuit church in a very special light, with Christmas symbols. The best vantage point from which to admire «Advent Magic in Lucerne» is on the opposite bank of the Reuss or from the Reuss Bridges. Further Information: 4

5 Pine boughs and bright lights Christmas stroll through Lucerne From 26th November Lucerne Tourism will be offering the popular guided tour through Christmas-lit Lucerne. On the «Pine boughs and bright lights» tours you will get to know the settings of the Advent and Christmas season in Lucerne and listen to festive and funny stories about Christmas customs.
