1 Austria and Italy 11 Nights / 12 Days Departure Dates 2018: May 14, 28 / June 18 Daywise Tour Itinerary Day 1 (MONDAY) VIENNA : PRATTER Arrive at Vienna Airport and transfer to your Hotel. Check in into your Hotel for 2 night stay. (Usual check in time at hotel is 03:00 pm early check in can only be requested and cannot be guaranteed) (Our tour to Vienna start from Hotel at 05:00 pm) You shall be picked up from your Hotel and transferred to The PRATER. It is a large public park in Vienna's 2nd district The Wurstelprater Amusement Park, often simply called "Prater", lies in one corner of the Wiener Prater and includes the Wiener Riesenrad Ferris wheel. Later transfer to an Indian Restaurant for Dinner before returning to your Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Vienna. Meals Indian Dinner Day 2 (TUESDAY) VIENNA : Orientation Tour, Schonbrunn Palace, Cruise on Danube After Breakfast at Hotel set out on an Orientation Tour of VIENNA. This city tour will introduce you to the most important sights of the Austrian capital. As we drive around the famous 'Ringstrasse', Vienna's main boulevard, we pass by the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Parliament building, the Burg theatre (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. We return to the city center, passing by Belvedere Palace, continue to the State Opera House. Visit to Schonbrunn Palace (included) where we take a tour of some of the most magnificently decorated rooms. Enjoy Lunch at an Indian Restaurant. After Lunch, Enjoy a CRUISE on DANUBE (Duration: about 75 MINUTES) Boat tour starts at the Reichsbrucke from where we sail upstream. Many sights will pass by while you relax on board. Amongst them are the Danube Tower, the Danube Island, the Copa Cagrana, the Danube Park and the United Nations Headquarters. At the lock in Nubdorf we enter the Danube canal. 2 Day 3 (WEDNESDAY) VIENNA SALZBURG : Sound of Music Tour After Breakfast at Hotel, check out & and drive to SALZBURG (About 4 hour drive). Upon arrival at Salzburg, enjoy Lunch at an Indian Restaurant. After Lunch, enjoy the Most Unique Sound of Music Tour. Relive the true story of the Von Trapp family which was filmed as the 'Sound of Music' in the Salzburg area. The tour, is a combination of sightseeing in this historical city itself and in the beautiful lakes and mountains area known as the Salzkammergut, which is also a famous musical and cultural centre. The highlights and film locations of the 'Sound of Music', such as the beautiful gardens in Hellbrunn (where Liesl and Rolf sang 'I am 16 going on 17'), and the wedding church in Mondsee are a treat for all fans of the film. Later transfer to an Indian Restaurant for Dinner before checking in into your Hotel for 3 night stay. Overnight at Hotel in Salzburg. Day 4 (THURSDAY) SALZBURG : SALT MINE TOUR Breakfast at Hotel. Starting in the city of Salzburg we pass by the area of Hellbrunn, taking us directly to the Salt mines. Before entering the mine you will dress like a miner (protective clothing provided) and then travel by miner's train into the heart of the mountain. Once inside this remarkable underground world the knowledgeable local miner/guide will amaze you with tales of the history of the salt, how it was mined, transported and used. Going down further into the caverns you can use the miners' slides, great fun for all ages. Then be amazed within the mountain as you travel by raft across a Salt Lake. Once you have been enchanted within these underground labyrinths you will return to the outside world by miners' train. Return to Salzburg and transfer to an Indian Restaurant for Dinner before returning to your Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Salzburg. Meals Breakfast, Indian Dinner (NO LUNCH) Day 5 (FRIDAY) SALZBURG : WERFEN ICE CAVES TOUR Breakfast at Hotel. Today travel to Werfen, Austria and visit the LARGEST ICE CAVES IN THE WORLD. After forming over thousands of years, the icy labyrinth of caves reveals all of its crystal clear beauty. 3 Day 6 (SATURDAY) SALZBURG INNSBRUCK (SWAROVSKI KRISTALLWELTEN) Check out Board your Coach and Drive to Innsbruck. (About 3 hour drive) Enjoy an Indian Lunch at Innsbruck. A short drive to Wattens (30 minutes). Here you will visit the Swarovski Kristallwelten (Tickets included). The complex was originally designed by the famous Austrian performer artist Andre Heller, and it takes you on an interesting journey into the world of crystals. Enjoy Dinner at an Indian Restaurant before Checking in into your hotel for 2 night stay. Overnight at Hotel in Innsbruck. Day 7 (SUNDAY) INNSBRUCK (INNSBRUCK CITY and ALPINE ZOO) Today Morning visit the beautiful Alpine destination Innsbruck. It was the host to 1964 and 1976 winter Olympics. Enjoy a short walk through the town to see the Golden Dach and the Triumphal Arch. We will also see Innsbruck cathedral and the Imperial Palace of Innsbruck (Outside View) which is a great picture stop. After the walk through the city center with it s old buildings, we enjoy an Indian Lunch. After Lunch visit ALPENZOO Innsbruck. Innsbruck s innovative zoo lies along the sunny slopes of the Hungerburg plateau to the north of the city and is the only zoo in the world to feature animals indigenous to the Tyrol region along with amazing Alpine views. It opened in 1962, the brainchild of Professor Hans Psenner, who toiled for much of his adult life to establish a zoo dedicated purely to Alpine animal life. The Tyrolean region has incredible diversity and the zoo s animal head count reaches 2,000 from 150 different Alpine species, from ibex to brown bears and birds of prey such as Golden eagles and owls. The last 10 years have seen much expansion, with the zoo now covering an area of 4.1 hectares (10.1 acres) over six levels; the birds are housed in vast aviaries, mammals in free running enclosures, and fish in cold water aquariums. Meals Breakfast, Indian Lunch, Indian Dinner Day 8 (MONDAY) INNSBRUCK VENICE (St MARK's SQUARE & GONDOLA RIDE) PADOVA Early Morning, check out & depart for the Romantic City of VENICE. (about 5 Hour drive). Take a short drive to a Pier where you will take a boat to reach the St Mark s Island. Here you shall walk through the islands to see the main attractions including the St Mark s Square (where you can feed the Pigeons), St. Marks Basilica, the Doge s Palace, the Campanile and the Bridge of Sighs. (Please note: Lot of Walking involved). GONDOLA Ride (included) (6 person sharing one Gondola). Return to mainland by Boat, where you shall board your Coach again and drive to an Indian Restaurant for Dinner. Check In into your hotel for Overnight Stay. Overnight at Hotel in Padova. 4 Day 9 (TUESDAY) PADOVA MARANELLO FERRARI MUSEUM in MARANELLO PISA Check out & depart for Maranello (about 2 Hour drive). Arrive at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, promising a uniquely enthralling experience. The Maranello Museum tells the story of Ferrari past and present. Optional Activities at Museum available (NOT Included): Ride semi professional Formula 1 simulators (Optional) Have photo taken in a Ferrari Opportunity to try a real tyre change Opportunity to shop at a great Ferrari Store. Continue journey to PISA (about 3 Hour drive). Upon arrival at Pisa, Check in into your Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Pisa. Day 10 (WEDNESDAY) Visit LEANING TOWER of PISA (Entrance Included) ROME Morning Visit the Piazza del Duomo and visit the 56 m high LEANING TOWER of PISA. Entrance to LEANING TOWER of PISA Included. Requires Climbing of 297 spiral staircase leading to the top. You can actually feel the Lean of the Tower only when you climb and visit the Top of the Tower. After Lunch depart for ROME (about 6 Hour drive). Upon Arrival at Rome drive to an Indian Restaurant for Dinner. After Dinner, Check in into your Hotel for Two Night Stay. Overnight at Hotel in Rome. Day 11 (THURSDAY) ROME (CITY TOUR, St PETER's BASILICA & TIME ELEVATOR SHOW) Today's Guided Tour of Rome covers landmarks of Rome like Victor Emmanuel Monument, the Roman Forum (Outside View), Colosseum (Outside View), Venice Square, Trevi Fountain etc. End your Tour with a visit the St. Peter s Basilica at the Vatican largest Basilica in the world. Also enjoy the TIME LEVATOR SHOW: The show takes you back in time and you will learn about History of Rome including the legend of Romulus and Remus and the founding of the city, seeing victories and defeats, development and decline of the Roman Empire. Overnight at Hotel in Rome. Day 12 (FRIDAY) ROME Morning is free till you check out & transfer to Rome Airport for your Flight Back Home.
