2 DETAILED PROGRAM DESCRIPTION DAY 1 Saturday 23 June Cape Town Dubai Meet at Cape Town International Airport to catch your flight to Prague via Dubai. Evening Luggage goes straight through. On the plane.

3 DAY 2 Sunday 24 June Dubai - Prague Breakfast on the plane. Arrive at Prague International Airport. Meet your Tour Manager Karin Pfliegler. Transfer to your accommodation. Check in and (depending on your arrival time) Orientation tour with your Tour Manager. at the Hotel or nearby Restaurant. 3* Hotel Beranek - multiple bed room for students. 5 teachers free in 2x2, 1x1.

4 DAY 3 Monday 25 June Prague City Tour and Concert City Tour with City guide. Free time for lunch. concert at St. Nicholas Church. The church is in the old part of Prague. The splendid baroque church is a work of the excellent baroque architect Kilian Ignaz Dietzenhofer. The interior is designed in a very complex and plastic way and counts with its interesting light effects to the master pieces of Dietzenhofer. A crown chandelier decorated with Harrachov crystal hangs in the nave. In the late 19th century Russian Tsar Nicholas II donated it to the Orthodox Church, which had been using the church since The church underwent a costly renovation from It was here where Dr. Karel Farský announced the establishment of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church in 1920; to this day St Nicholas remains a Hussite church Free time after concert. 5 DAY 4 Tuesday 26 June Prague Budapest Breakfast. transfer to Budapest. This is a 6 Hour Drive with a lunch stop. Budapest - one of the most beautiful cities in the world possesses a rich and fascinating history as well as a vibrant cultural heritage. Recognizing the unique value of its traditions it has managed to maintain its magic and charm, and is rightly known as the Queen of the Danube. It has also been called the City of Spas, as there are a dozen thermal baths complexes served by over a hundred natural thermal springs. City Tour of Budapest. at Local Restaurant. 6 DAY 5 Wednesday 27 June Budapest Breakfast. excursion to Szendendre to see a little from the landscape, the Danube and the beautiful little art village Szendendre. This is a beautiful place for handcraft good and great shopping. Free time. Lunch in Szendendre. Return to Budapest visiting Budapest Castle area. Concert in the Museum of Music pm After concert transfer to the dinner place Hungarian folklore dancing and Gypsy Music, including dinner. Return to Hotel. 3* Atlas Hotel

7 DAY 6 Thursday 28 June Budapest Bratislava - Vienna After breakfast, depart for Bratislava, the Capital of Slovakia. City Tour with a City Guide. Own lunch in Bratislava. Continue on to Vienna. Check in at Hotel. Later on, in the afternoon we drive to and take a ride on the Prater (Giant Ferris Wheel). at Hotel or Local Restaurant. At Leisure. 3* Hotel Gabriel.

8 DAY 7 Friday 29 June Vienna Breakfast Tour of Vienna with Licenced Vienna City Guide. Places we will see are Ringstrasse, St. Stephens Cathedral, 1 st District with Royal Palace, Vienna State Opera House and the Albertina Museum. Transfer to Schönbrunn Palace. Informal singing in the court yard Schönbrunn Palace. Imperial Tour inside. Drive to your concert place in the Vienna surrounding area. This is one of the most beautiful places, an example of a pilgrimage church with a praying outdoor theatre. at Hotel or Local Restaurant. At Leisure. 3* Hotel Gabriel.

9 DAY 8 Saturday 30 June Vienna - Salzburg After breakfast transfer to Salzburg with a stop at Melk Abbey. Melk has been a spiritual and cultural centre of the country for more than 1000 years, first as a castle for the Babenbergs, then from 1089 as a Benedictine monastery, founded by Leopold II. Since the 12 th century a school has been connected with the monastery, and valuable manuscripts have been collected and created in the library. In the course of the monastery s history, members of the Melk monastic community have achieved significant success in the fields of natural science and the arts. After the tour informal singing (30 minutes) in the Golden Church. Continue to Salzburg with another stop at Mondsee, to visit the Sound of Music wedding church. 10 DAY 9 Sunday 1 July Salzburg After breakfast, we do a Guided City Tour, ending at the Salzburg Cathedral. Mass Choir at 11h30 at the Cathedral. 12h30 end mass. Walk back to JUFA. Lunch. excursion to Hellbrun Palace (The Sound of Music). at Hostel or Local Restaurant. At Leisure. JUFA Youth Hostel.

11 DAY 10 Monday 2 July Salzburg - Munich Breakfast at the Hostel. at Leisure to roam Salzburg and do some shopping. Own Lunch in Salzburg. Transfer to Munich by Coach. Stop at to Königsee (Kingslake), the deepest and bluest lake in Berchtesgaden /Germany. at local restaurant. Leisure. Haus International Hostel.

12 DAY 11 Tuesday 3 July Munich Breakfast at the Hostel. Guided City Tour of Munich. After lunch, transfer to Music School Grünwald Joint Concert with the MS Choir. Fully promoted concert. Buffet Reception after Concert. Haus International Hostel.

Prague: Concert in St Nicholas Church with Full Audience. 1 Hour. Budapest: Late afternoon Concert at the Institute of Music Plus Guided Tour through the Institute. All with Huge Audience 1 Hour. Vienna: 30 Minutes Informal singing (A cappella) before or after the Tour of the Schönbrunn Palace. PLUS, Full 1 Hour performance in Vienna with Full Audience. This to be finalized, once deposits have been made. Melk Abbey: 30 Minutes Informal singing (A cappella) after the Tour of the Abbey in the Golden Church. Great acoustics with a full audience. Salzburg: This will be on a Sunday. Mass is from 11h30 12h30. Mass is in the Salzburg Cathedral. Fully packed. Munich: This will be at the Music School of Grünwald. This will be a 2-hour joint performance. You will be given 2 or 3 pieces to sing together with the Music School Choir. You and they will also sing your own pieces. This will be followed by a Reception at the Music School. So, 7 performances in total. Once Tour is formally on, I will set up skype conference with Karin to finalize all of this.
