1 ISO/IEC JTC1/SC17/WG8 N 1272 R2 Calling Notice for the meeting series of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC17/WG8 and TFs being held in San Diego, U.S.A., /02-01 The meetings will be held in the conference hotel: Humphrey s Half Moon Inn & Suites 2303 Shelter Island Drive San Diego CA U.S.A. Telephone: METHOD OF RESERVATION Individuals must identify themselves as part of ISO-WG8, International Group For Standards at the time of making reservations in order to be eligible for the special group rate. The room rate is $154/night. The room rate is the same for 1 or 2 people, but does not include breakfast. Complimentary coffee, juice and a Danish will be provided in the morning in the meeting room. Please call (800) or (619) to make reservations. You can also your request to res@halfmooninn.com and please copy fc.consulting@earthlink.net on your reservation request. An advance deposit or credit card guarantee for the first night s room and tax is due by December 22, Humphrey s Half Moon Inn & Suites does not guarantee specific room type availability. Traditional, 1 king bed or 2 queen size, requests will be accommodated to the best of the Hotel s ability. A Jr. suite is $50 more, they have a bed room, living room with a sleeper, wet bar, microwave and small refrig. The view suite is $120 more and it has a full kitchen, bed room, and living room with a sleeper. A wireless internet access is provided in the guest rooms, which is free of charge for a data rate of 128kb/s. Should a higher speed be needed, it costs: - $7.95 for 24 hours for 512kb/s - $10.95 for 24 hours for 1Mb/s CUT-OFF DATE The Hotel understands all reservations will be held on an individual basis. Rooms will be held until the cut-off date of December 22, Reservations received after Friday, December 22, 2006 will be provided on a space available basis. If the Group Rate is not available after the cutoff date, the prevailing rack rates will apply. Requests received after the cut-off date will be accepted on space and rate availability up to the group block. Hotel Parking is $8.00 per vehicle per night.
