1 Basic and Custom Commercial Programs LED Document File Guidelines LED Document Overview Oncor energy efficiency programs encourage and incent the use of certain LED products approved by Design Lights Consortium (DLC), Energy Star, LED Lighting Facts or other organizations as noted in the most recent edition of the Texas Technical Reference Manual (TRM). It is the responsibility of the Service Provider to ensure that the LED products used for projects are approved for use and qualify for an incentive. Additional lighting measure requirements are provided below: Linear replacement lamps (Tube LEDs) do not qualify for an incentive. LEDs must be used in the application for which they were tested/approved (e.g., indoor vs. outdoor). The model number on the LED fixture nameplate must match the model number shown in the LED approval sheet and in the E-File. If the LED fixture nameplate is missing, or the label has a missing or abbreviated model number, the LED product will not qualify for an incentive. More information on lighting measure requirements can be found in the Basic and Custom Commercial Program Manuals. LED Document File Content Consolidate all LED documentation for all project sites (ESIIDs) in a single file (do not use a zip file). Start the file sequence with the lowest watt LED fixture and end with the highest watt LED fixture. For each LED, provide the manufacturer specification sheet(s) followed by the DLC, Energy Star, or LED Lighting Facts approval sheet. When using DLC, your screen shot of the approval sheet should show Test Data wattage. If Test Data wattage is not available, Reported Data wattage may be used. 3 Energy Star Approval Sheet The model number in Energy Star should match the model number on the LED fixture nameplate. If the LED wattage contains a fraction, round the wattage up to the next whole number when listing the LED Fixture Code in the E1 or N1 File. List the Energy Star model number in the E1 or N1 File. This model number must also appear on the LED fixture nameplate. The LED wattage should be listed in the E1 or N1 File as a LED010-SCRW fixture code since it is a screw-in LED. The wattage contains a fraction, so round up to the next whole number when listing the fixture code in the E1 or N1 File. 5 DLC Approval Sheet Provide a screen-shot of the Tested Data folder. If Tested Data is not available, provide Reported Data. Do not use the Product ID as your LED Model Number. The model number in DLC should match the model number on the LED fixture nameplate. Any DLC wildcard characters (e.g., XXX) should be accounted for in the fixture nameplate model number. If the LED wattage contains a fraction, round the wattage up to the next whole number when listing the LED Fixture Code in the E1 or N1 File. List the DLC Model Number in the E1 or N1 File. This model number must also appear on the LED fixture nameplate. Select the Tested Data Folder. The LED Tested Data wattage should be listed in the E1 or N1 File as a LED156-FIXT since it is a LED fixture. 7 DLC Approval Sheet This LED has been tested for outdoor applications. To qualify for indoor applications, the DLC QPL approval sheet will need to reflect the Indoor Luminaires category. The model number on the LED fixture nameplate may sometimes be found in the Family Data folder. LED Lighting Facts Approval Sheet A screen-shot of this Approval Sheet may be provided in lieu of a DLC or Energy Star Approval Sheet. List the LED Lighting Facts Model Number in the E1 or N1 File. This model number must also appear on the LED fixture nameplate. The LED wattage should be listed in the E1 or N1 File as a LED156-FIXT since it is a LED fixture.
