4 Dalekovod TKS / 05 Dalekovod TKS Dalekovod TKS Doboj has been a member of the Dalekovod Group since 2004 and is in the majority ownership of Dalekovod d.d. Zagreb. Tvornica was founded in 1972 as a specialized factory for the production of transmission line and other structures containing hot-dip galvanized protective surface within Energoinvest in Sarajevo, and has been until recently known under the name of Tvornica dalekovodnih stubova i konstrukcija Doboj. In manufacturing transmission poles for many countries, the company has gained a strong reputation and the trust of business partners. The factory capacity amounts to approximately 20,000 tones of transmission line, lighting, mesh and polygonal type poles including various metal structures. Since its founding up until today, Tvornica has manufactured and exported transmission line structures, lighting pylons and equipment for cable cars and ski lifts amounting to over 300,000 tones in 30 countries throughout the world, with the most important exports achieved in the following countries: USA, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, Norway, Sri Lanka, Thailand, etc. Since 1982, the factory has produced facilities for vertical transportation (cable cars and ski lifts) which along with transmission line and lighting pylons makes up for a significant part of the production program. Up until today, over 300,000 tones of various structures have been produced. Dalekovod TKS Doboj within the framework of the total production in the Dalekovod Group (approx. 30,000 tones annually) contributes about 10,000 tones of structure a year. This comprises mainly of steel mesh-like structures for various purposes, including polygonal, transmission and antenna pylons. Today, Dalekovod TKS a.d. Doboj is a specialized factory for the production of pylons and structures for electricity production and telecommunications, including equipment for motorways and railways including protection of products utilizing hot-dip galvanization in Dugo Selo, in the Republic of Croatia. Processing machines enable exact production, while trial assembly allows the construction of each section including the whole pylon. Lighting and Reflector Pylons Urbanization of man s environment has conditioned rapid development in the area of lighting techniques. Construction of new tourist and residential structures, industrial facilities, sporting venues as well as roads, requires modern solutions for lighting and placement of pylons which meets technical and economic requirements as well as aesthetically integrating into the specific architectural surroundings. For the requirements of the market, the Dalekovod TKS company has developed the production of lighting pylons types SRS, KORS and CRS as well as reflector pylons type SUN and DARESTI. On the basis of many years of experience and necessary technical conditions, we have typified pylons in accordance with their technical characteristics and their purpose. The above product range is not final and will be complemented along with the development of new types of pylons, as well as specific technical, climatic and architectural requirements of particular structures. When designing public lighting, especially in relation to lighting of larger buildings, our employees are prepared to assist in defining the type of pylon that best suits your requirements. Specialized machinery allows the production of pylons from sheeting consisting of multiple segments as well as multiple-cornered cross-sections. Quality production is offered by attested welders and machines. Dalekovod TKS Doboj also constructs cable cars and ski lifts Technical Equipment for Roads Modern roadways for motor vehicles allows greater speeds, and quieter and more comfortable ride, while at the same time offering a high level of safety for vehicles using such roadways.
