This Guide includes a calendar of sporting, social and children s activities that will be taking place, along with details of some rather special events that are planned. Regular favourites include tennis and pony camps, yoga and scuba diving. The Guide also features some unique events for those times when you feel like a break from the pampered seclusion of your villa. 12 EQUESTRIAN Throughout the Easter season the Equestrian Centre will be offering private and shared lessons, beach trail rides and pony rides. For adults and children from two years upwards. Pony Camps Pony Camps will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 16 March to 13 April, 8.30am 10.30am For children aged 4 to 12 years. Vaulting Camps Gymnastics on Horseback Have fun learning gymnastics on a horse. There will be an opportunity to show off your newly acquired skills at our Easter Horse Show on Friday 6 April. Vaulting Camps on Thursdays from 22 March to 12 April 9am to 10.30am For children aged 6 years and upwards including teens. 14 WATERSPORTS Scuba diving Mustique Watersports offers a full range of PADI Scuba Diving courses, fantastic dives for already certified divers, an array of water toys and a programme of special activities. Sea Spies, guided snorkelling Every Tuesday & Thursday, from 20 March to 12 April,. US$25 per person Participants must sign up. Guided snorkelling on the House Reef in front of the Watersports Centre. Participants must be confident swimmers, 8 years or older. All equipment will be provided. Sailing Camp Every Monday and Friday, from 16 March to 13 April 3.30pm 4.30pm. US$30 per person Participants must sign up. Learn all about tacking, gybing, reaching and running on Hobie Wave sail boats. Participants must be confident swimmers. Night Snorkelling Every Wednesday, from 21 March to 11 April, 7pm 8pm (and on request) US$35 per person Participants must sign up. Snorkelling equipment and underwater torches will be provided, with an expert guide to reveal the magical underwater world. 15 BOAT CHARTERS Lady Anne The Mustique Company has recently commissioned and christened the Lady Anne, a Bowen 38 cruise boat with three 250hp 4-stroke outboard engines. The boat is available to island guests for private charters, island cruises, fishing and sunset tours. 16 ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION Join our Conservation Team. In 2015 the island s marine conservation team, with the help of The Coral Restoration Foundation International (CRFI), pioneered a coral restoration project to protect and rehabilitate the coral reefs surrounding Mustique. A coral nursery was established off shore in Endeavour Bay, where samples are nurtured for up to 9 months on coral trees before being outplanted back on to the surrounding reefs to regenerate and stabilize the fragile marine ecosystems of the island s surrounding waters. Every few weeks the dive team swim out to the nursery to clean the coral and measure its progress. Certified divers are very welcome to join the team, and it s an easy swim out with mask and snorkel to visit the nursery. Please contact the Dive Shop on extension 8486 for further information. Coral Restoration Snorkel Tuesday 20 & 27 March Tuesday 3 & 10 April 9am to 10am Watersports Jetty Snorkel with Nakita, our Environmental Manager around Endeavour Bay to learn about our pioneering coral restoration programme. See how we grow three species of coral, and where we ve planted them back onto our reefs. 16

More information on the international event can be found here: Drastic Plastic Beach Clean-up Friday 30 March Meet at the Playing Field Help us keep our island pristine by collecting the sea debris that washes up on our shores. Prizes for the most unusual piece of debris, the best costume made out of sea flotsam and jetsam and the best camouflaged mule. Before the Flood Movie Screening Monday 9 April Leonardo DiCaprio looks at how climate change affects our environment and what society can do to prevent the demise of endangered species, ecosystems and native communities across the globe. 18 SEASONAL EVENTS Darrow Saturday 17 March 6pm The Cotton House Great Room Darrow is a remarkable one man show about the American Civil Liberties lawyer Clarence Darrow, starring John Burstein, a professional actor famous in the US for his creation Slim Goodbody. Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water... Get your heart thumping as you tread water and wait for the excitement to bite. Ice chest available to cool your drinks. Call the Activities on 8378 Beach Cluedo Wednesday 21 March Wednesday 4 April start at the Playing Field 5.30pm finish at the Beach Café This variation on the Whodunnit game will have teams visiting the beaches of Mustique to search for clues. Powers of deduction will be at work to discover the culprit, the weapon of choice and even the victim. Vehicles and calculating minds will definitely be of benefit! If you can recognize the riff and name the musician, name the film with the famous quote, know the actor s real name. you might just win a prize as well as enjoying yourself. Their mission is to improve the opportunities for children, young people and vulnerable adults while supporting the development of sustainable communities throughout St Vincent and the Grenadines.
