1 NEWSLETTER 5 JAN 2018 Much activity has taken place since the last newsletter, with the next round of international boat shows getting started immediately after our inaugural Dealer Conference in early September.. Thank you to all those dealers who attended the first Fairline Yachts dealer conference in Cannes. It was great to engage with, and update you all on the progress that Fairline Yachts has made - as well as the exciting plans we have for the future. Importantly, it was particularly useful to have your feedback on our operational and product plans so we can learn how to better support you within our resources and ultimately improve sales across all territories, both new and established. I trust that you felt the event to be worthwhile and took the opportunity to broaden your network amongst all those present. Cannes & Southampton shows A high proportion of dealers attended the Cannes Yachting Festival, not least to get a first viewing onboard the Targa 63 GTO at its World Premiere. A great lineup of new boats with the Fairline Yachts signature ensured high levels of interest from customers, competitors and the press. There was no doubting that Fairline was back! Despite some last-minute changes made to the stand courtesy of intervention by Le Pompier, this year s stand accommodated larger visitor numbers and offered increased seating areas for customers and dealers. Southampton boat show saw the UK debut of the Squadron 53 and the impressive 2018 Model Year 48 footers. New hull windows and significantly uprated interiors ensured the many visitors to these boats were impressed the overriding comments being that the Fairline quality is back and stands out amongst our UK competitors. The aspiration remains to move the stand ashore in future years, allowing an advanced level of hospitality and work areas akin to those provided at other International boat shows. Boosted no doubt by the presence of the Targa 63 GTO, visitor numbers to the stand were up significantly on last year, indicating that Fairline Yachts had become a destination for many show visitors. - Rob Hammond, Sales Manager 1 P a g e

Awards The annual World Yacht Trophies were held at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Cannes on 16 September.

2 Awards The annual World Yacht Trophies were held at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Cannes on 16 September. With the Targa 63 GTO nominated in the best exterior design category, expectations were high for collecting silverware. The announcement second in proceedings that the Targa 63 GTO was the clear winner, allowing the champagne to be popped early and preparations for the parade of yachts. A truly momentous achievement with thanks being passed to all involved in the design process; Alberto Mancini, Andrew Pope and the Fairline design studio, Vripack and the production team in Oundle and of course, to you for promoting the boat within your region to create anticipation for the product and interest in the brand. Later that evening, Alberto Mancini also won the award for Designer of the Year. All in all, a very successful evening and positive confirmation for the direction in which Fairline Yachts is heading. The METS trade show in Amsterdam in November saw Fairline Yachts being recognised amongst piers once again. With Karl Gilding collecting the award for the success achieved in the area of International Dealer Development. The annual Boat Builder Awards are the leading awards for the leisure marine industry with trade journal IBI heading the judging panel. Annapolis & Fort Lauderdale boat shows The team from Total Marine (Fairline New York & Fairline Chesapeake) enjoyed a successful show in Annapolis. With the Targa 63 GTO making it s USA premiere, interest in this boat was accordingly high, along with anticipation of the Squadron 64 ably demonstrated via Virtual Reality. Fairline dealers from Florida, Mexico, New York, Chesapeake, Chicago and Argentina represented the brand in Fort Lauderdale. The biggest on water show in the USA saw Fairline displaying an up to date line up comprised of the Targa 63 GTO, Squadron 65 and Squadron 53. Thierry Lucker from Fairline Côte d'azur flew in with a potential client from France to the show and closed the sale of another new Targa 63 GTO the 3 rd retail sale of this new model by this dealership! Our 50 th anniversary was celebrated in style with a well-attended party complete with Miami DJ and saxophonist. 2 P a g e

Those dealers with a vested interest in the extended saloon version of the Targa 63 will have noticed the separation of the associated General Arrangements, specification and pricing onto a separate tab on the Brandfolder titled Targa 63 GT. Labelling the extended saloon version under the Targa 63 Gran Turismo Open does not make sense as the patio door arrangement does not permit the Open arrangement, therefore it has been re-classified as a separate model in the range. This will allow much more clarity on available arrangements for customers. An ebrochure is in development for release this month as well as separating this model on our website. Targa 63 GT Targa 63 GTO Squadron will see this much-anticipated boat go into production and will be the first model to be assembled at the Southampton shipyard. The World Premiere is planned for Boot Dusseldorf 2019, and we look forward to welcoming you at either location for viewings.
