At our discretion, the stateroom assigned may be in the category paid for or any category higher than the category paid for, anywhere on the ship. Guests who require a wheelchair accessible stateroom, want to ensure they are assigned the same stateroom on consecutive voyages, or prefer a specific deck or location (such as mid-ship or near an elevator) are encouraged to book a category where a stateroom assignment can be confirmed upfront. Changes to or cancellation of Air, Hotel Packages or Ground Transportation are subject to the above cancellation fees. 4. For security reasons, first, middle (if applicable) and last names must match the government issued ID used for boarding. 5. All guests are encouraged to complete our online check-in process to facilitate compliance with U.S. regulations and avoid the risk of significant departure delays. 6. 7 CPP Platinum Cancellation Protection Plan Summary of Benefits This is only a brief description of the program. We have highlighted just a few of the features of CPP Platinum. For a summary of the terms, conditions and exclusions, please refer to the CPP Platinum Plan Description on our website at Holland America's Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) Platinum is designed to help protect your vacation investment from loss. Be it illness, family matters, unforeseen work events -- anything, CPP Platinum enables you to cancel your vacation plans before you leave for any reason and receive a refund. SECTION I Cancel for Any Reason Waiver Provided by Holland America Line You may cancel for any reason prior to the start of your scheduled travel (sea, land and/or air) arrangements made by Holland America Line and receive reimbursement equal to 90% of the eligible amounts paid to Holland America Line. Note: CPP Platinum does not protect doubletriple-quad occupancy rates should one or more members of your party cancel prior to departure. SECTION II Travel Insurance Program Underwritten by Transamerica Casualty Insurance Company Policy Number: MZ H0000A Trip Interruption - Reimburses up to 150% of total cruise vacation cost for unused land or water travel arrangements and/or the cost of one way economy airfare (or the cost to change your original ticket) in order to catch up to, or return home from, your cruise vacation if you must interrupt because you, a traveling companion or an immediate family member suffers from unforeseen sickness, injury or death, or Other Covered Events as defined below. Other Covered Events include a change in plans by you, an Immediate Family Member traveling with you or a Traveling Companion, resulting from the following events which occurs: being: hijacked; Quarantined; a documented theft of passports or visas; directly involved in a documented traffic accident while en route to departure; having your Home made uninhabitable by fire, flood, volcano, earthquake, hurricane, or other natural disaster; or a Terrorist Act (or Acts) which occur(s) in your departure city or a city which is a scheduled destination for your covered cruise vacation provided the Terrorist Act occurs within 30 days of the Scheduled Departure Date for your covered cruise vacation. Trip Delay - Reimburses you up to $500 for the cost of catching up with the Cruise Vacation if you missed the scheduled departure as a result of airline-caused delays or other covered reasons. Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation - Covers the expense, up to $50,000, of evacuating you by commercial aircraft or air ambulance, should you become sick or injured and if your condition cannot be treated by local medical facilities. In the event of death, the plan also covers the expense, for preparing and transporting remains home. Medical & Dental Expense - Reimburses you for medical expenses incurred, up to $10,000, for an Accident or a Sickness, in the event you become injured or sick during your cruise/ Land+Sea journey. We will pay that portion of Covered Expenses that exceeds the amount of benefits payable for such expenses under your Other Valid and Collectible Group Insurance in effect for you. For insureds who purchase the plan as Vermont residents, benefits for the following coverages are paid on a primary basis: emergency accident & sickness medical, emergency dental, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation of remains. Baggage/Personal Effects - Reimburses you, up to $1,000, less any amount paid or payable from coverage provided by a Common Carrier and/or insurance specifically insuring the lost, stolen, or damaged item(s) for the covered loss, damage or theft of baggage or personal effects during or while in transit to or from your cruise/land+sea journey. Baggage Delay - Provides reimbursement, up to $500, for the purchase of reasonable additional clothing and personal articles in the event your luggage is delayed by more than 24 hours en route to the cruise/ Land +Sea journey. This coverage terminates upon your arrival home. Note that certain terms, conditions and exclusions apply.
