The key sights will be a drive through Barcelona s main streets and squares, a short stop at Montjuich Hill, external viewing of the Sagrada Família and a short stop for some shopping in the Plaça de Catalunya. Please note: on public holidays or on Sunday afternoon, the shopping stop will be at the La Rambla. Guests using a wheelchair must be accompanied by a helper to provide assistance with getting on and off the coach and that wheelchairs must be collapsible/foldable since the coach has neither a ramp nor a lift. You will begin your excursion with a visit to the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde. Continue along the Corniche (coast road) where you will admire Borely Castle and garden (no inside visit). The excursion includes sightseeing in the centre of Marseilles and photos at Longchamps Palace before enjoying some free time in the Vieux Port (old port). Please note: this tour is not suitable for guests with mobility problems or using a wheelchair due to many steps and uphill path around the The tour begins with a 45-minute coach ride to Santa Margherita Ligure before a 10-minute boat ride to Portofino. Here you will have time at leisure to explore this delightful seaside town. You will continue by boat to Santa Margherita, from where you will return to Genoa and to the ship. Please note: this tour is available only in April and October. The feasibility of the tour depends on weather conditions. In case of bad weather the transfer from Santa Margherita to Portofino and vice versa will take place by minibus. This tour is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties or using a wheelchair. GOA01T PORTOFINO DURATION: APPROX. 4.5HOURS This tour gives you a chance to enjoy a lush section of this famous coastline during your 1.5 hour scenic cruise that takes you to Portofino. You will have plenty of time to explore this delightful seaside town at your leisure before your return journey to Genoa. Please note: this tour is available from May calls through all September. Weather conditions will dictate if the tour is feasible. Should bad weather prevail, you will perform the tour with program of tour code GOA01T. A coach will take you from Genoa to Santa Margherita Ligure where you will embark on a boat or a minibus to Portofino and vice versa. This tour is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties or using a wheelchair. The beautiful island of Capri awaits you on this enchanting island tour. After docking at the Marina Grande on the north side of the island, you will board a minibus or the cable car to reach Anacapri. Enjoy some free time to stroll the cosy streets for shopping before reaching the splendid Villa San Michele. Next, you will board the minibus to reach Capri town where you will have some free time to explore the charming streets that surround the famous Piazza Umberto I or, if you wish, you can visit Augustus Gardens on your own (price not included). A minibus or a cable car ride will take you back to the port where you will board the ferry or a hydrofoil for your return journey to the port of Naples. Please note: the transfer to Capri may be on a public or a private hydrofoil/catamaran. The excursion does not operate from November to February (inclusive). This tour is not suitable for guests with mobility problems or using a wheelchair. Guides will only give basic instructions on how to move on the island during the tour; they will not stay with the guests. (Available from 12th June to 30th October cruises) Leave the port of Messina by bus whereby after a 90 minute ride you will reach Catania. Upon your arrival, you will take a panoramic bus tour of the main streets and then stop at Piazza Alcalà. From this square you will continue walking through Porta Uzeda that will lead you to the Duomo, for a photographic stop. You will walk along the Via Etnea and you will arrive at Piazza Stesicoro and finally at the market Fera or Luni where you will have free time for shopping before leaving. Transfer by bus to the delightful tourist town of Taormina. You will take a walk along the main street and make some external visits to the 15th century Corvaja Palace, the small Roman Theater Odeon and the minor Basilica of St Nicholas from the 13th century. There will also be free time again for you to spend in town on your own before the coach returns you to Messina and your ship. Please note that excursion is limited and available on a first come first serve basis and minimum pax required is 35. (Available from 17th March to 9th June cruises) Enjoy a drive through Messina. Some stops will be scheduled at Piazza Duomo to have an external view of the Cathedral and the Bell Tower. Next, you will reach Taormina. A pleasant walk takes you to the renowned ancient Greco-Roman theatre and to Corvaia Palace (external visit). Free time for shopping. Please note: in case of religious celebrations, the visit to the Cathedral will be limited to the exterior of the site. Conservative attire recommended for visiting sites of religious importance. On holidays, shops may be closed.
