The Resort Development Originally built in 1995, Blue Horizon Resort was initially three villa vacation rentals on 50 acres of privately owned land with over 2,200 feet of beachfront.

Dragon View, Ridgetop and Tropico Cottages are approximately 650 SF and have full kitchen facilities with service for two, love seat, club chair and large screened in porch with sliding glass doors that open to the living space. Sunrise and Sunset Cottages are approximately 550 SF and are equipped with kitchenettes, service for two, ample furnishings and open air and screened in porches providing the amazing views offered at Blue Horizon. The Main House is utilized as the reception/concierge area for resort guests, office for management and contains the Manager s residence. Mudjin Bar & Grill is the most recent addition to the resort and is 1,984 SF with a seating capacity for 60 patrons. The management has opened the restaurant for lunch and dinner, offering locally grown fruits, vegetables and fresh local seafood with Caribbean influences. The migration of the Hump Back Whale occurs in and around the TCI and often brings them in close proximity of Blue Horizon Resort. In fact the whales can be sighted from the deck at Mudjin Bar & Grill. The largest nature preserve in the Caribbean covers half of Middle Caicos and one third of North Caicos proving that these islands are the ideal location for eco-tours and travel. Mudjin Harbour is always a must see for tourists and is an important public beachsite. Crossing Place Trail is for hikers and tourists who can also explore seven more beaches to the northwest, picnic in the shade of the cave, climb down to the hidden beach and beachcomb the isthmus of Dragon Cay.
