5 NOT: The mattress has been secured inside the sofa bed for transportation purposes. Do not remove the plastic string located on the front bars of the sofa bed until you have finished assembling your sofa bed. D C F

6 STP 1: Connect right arm (C) to sofa body () by inserting the metal bracket on right arm (C) into the glide on sofa body () as shown. Repeat this step to attach left arm (D). Note: The sofa bed mattress has been removed from the illustration for clarity. C D

7 STP 2: With the help of another person, gently lay the sofa body () on its back on a clean, smooth surface. Secure the right arm (C) and the left arm (D) to sofa body () with flat washer (3), spring washers (2) and hex socket head bolts (1). Use Allen key (4) to tighten the bolts. C D PCS 2 6 PCS 3 6 PCS

8 STP 3: Attach feet (F) to sofa body () with plastic washers (G) by rotating clockwise. Turn the assembled unit upright. NOT: The sofa body () is lined with a thin fabric underneath. It's is necessary to pierce through this fabric with the bolt on feet (F). Place your hand on the corner of the seat base to locate where the bolt must enter. C D G F

9 STP 4: Raise the back frame of the sofa body () in the upright position. Remove the plastic string located on the front bars securing the mattress to sofa body (). Place back cushion (A) and seat cushion (B) on sofa body (). D C F F B A C D F F

10 OPNING TH Remove the back cushion and seat cushion. Grasp the sleeper at the handle cut-out section and lift the mattress out of the sofa body into the first folded position. Unfold the front leg until both legs rest on the floor and bed is in the open position. Note: Before opening for first time, remove the plastic string securing the mattress to the sofa body. Fully open sofa bed

11 CLOSING TH Remove all objects on the sofa bed. Fold the legs until they completely rest against the folded bed. Once the mattress has been folded, grasp the handle cut out to gently lift and lower the mattress into the sofa body. Place the back and seat cushions into place. WARNING: DO NOT fold while linens or cushions are on the mattress. DO NOT jump on bed. DO NOT allow children to open or close the sofa bed. DO NOT allow children to play underneath sofa when in the bed position.
