2 bookbind.net Which kit do I choose? We offer a number of kits depending on need: Lets start with basics- WATER and FOOD. In that order. The average person needs 2-3 quarts of water per day for drinking, then at least 1 quart per day for washing. Our bottle of potable aqua has enough for 25 quarts. For food, at least 1200 calories are recommended per person per day. Our 3600 food package will just last one person 3 days. We personally have a deluxe kit for each parent in the household in case we get separated. But, it is important to have smaller kits for children and older parents that will be lighter to carry. We also keep an auto emergency kit in each vehicle. The branch recommends having a kit for home and work. So if budget is an issue start with a JW personal first aid kit you can afford and add another later.
