3 THE ORIGINAL DUTCH OVEN! A cast iron pan is called a Dutch Oven across the globe. The name Dutch Oven refers to a manufacturing technique in which molten iron is poured into a sand mold. The Dutch invented this technique and therefore we are very proud that we are the only brand casting our full range in the Netherlands. A Dutch Oven from the Netherlands, as it should be! Iron never loses its quality. Therefore we choose to work with 100% recycled material. With a proper furnace and a balanced mix of materials we manage to deliver the best quality without even having to dig an iron ore. The origin of the main component of the mix of materials is stamped on the bottom of the Dutch Oven. Combekk Homeware is quality of Dutch origin. Completely enamelled cast iron products with a functional design of fully recycled material. Enamelled cast iron cookware retains heat and creates a uniform heat distribution across the pan.

9 INGREDIENTS PREPARATION 2 cloves garlic 400g chopped tomatoes 1 (bottle) pumpkin 1 tablespoon caraway seeds 2 tablespoon coconut oil 2 bay leaves 1 tablespoon apple cider 2 red peppers juice and zest of 1 lemon 300g chickpeas, drained Halve the peppers and roast them (until the skin is completely black) in the oven or grill them whole over the flame of your stove and allow to cool. When the peppers have cooled you can scrape off the skin of a remove the seeds to cut them into large chunks. now pitted the pumpkin and cut into cubes of about 2.5 centimeters. PUMPKIN STEW Toast the caraway seeds in a dry pan. Then add the coconut oil and the chopped garlic. Add the rest of the ingredients except the lemon juice. Simmer cooked in about half an hour at 60 degrees (low heat). The pumpkin should be soft but not falling apart.

10 INGREDIENTS PREPARATION 1 kilogram of beef steak 250 grams chopped onions 3 cups vinegar 3 cups water 4 cloves 1 bay leaf 5 slices gingerbread 1 tablespoon sugar 10 peppercorns 50 grams butter Cut the meat into pieces and marinate it for at least 2 to 24 hours in vinegar, water, salt, pepper, bay leaf and cloves. Remove the meat from the marinade and cook for two minutes at 110ºC (230ºF) (medium heat) in the Combekk Dutch Oven and add the onions. Add the marinade, syrup and sugar and simmer for 3 hours at 60ºC (140ºF) (low heat) stewing. For the last hour, simmer with the gingerbread. COMBEKK STEW
