2 For anyone who would love to join their friends or family on this safari but choose not to ride. We offer exciting alternatives for non- riders from enjoying the beautiful Mashatu Game Reserve from the comforts of a vehicle or if you are more adventurous, cycling or bush walks are available. After each adventure filled morning you will meet up again with your friends for lunch at each camp and be able to enjoy the afternoon s activities together. Upon arrival at the Pont Drift Border Post or Limpopo Valley Airfield, you will be met by your guide, Cor or West, and transferred to Two Mashatus Camp. After a light lunch you can either relax at the very comfortable camp or enjoy a drive to the LVHS safaris where you can meet the horses and enjoy a sundowner at the comfortable stable bar overlooking the Limpopo river. Back at Two Mashatus enjoy a warm shower, cold drink at the bar and top it off with a delicious dinner served under the Llalapalm dining room. The day begins at sunrise with tea/coffee brought to your tent, followed by a light breakfast. Your guide for your chosen activity from Mashatu will pick you up from camp and take you on a scenic adventure through untamed bushveld where you will have the opportunity in seeing everything from the small game to the abundant elephant. After a good morning of sightseeing and exploring you will head to our next camp called Jwala. After arriving at Jwala Camp, lunch is the order of the day followed by a guided afternoon walk, examining the bush around you in detail. Dinner is prepared over an open fire by Martha or Grace - our truly brilliant chefs whose "bush cuisine" is renowned far and wide. Retire to your spacious tent where the African bush gently serenades you to sleep.

3 An early wake up call heralds a new day and tea/coffee and a delicious light breakfast is served around the log fire. Whether you choose a different activity for the day or stick with the same one, you will not be disappointed as you continue to explore new terrains and find new creatures. At midday you will head to the unique Kgotla camp where you will meet up with the rest of the group to discuss the daysí adventures. The Kgotla is an old tribal court from a nearby community that was relocated to the banks of the Motloutse River on the western periphery of Mashatu. The open-air traditional African enclosure is made of leadwood logs in the shade of a century old Mashatu Tree. In the afternoon we have the option of visiting the local village, buying hand crafted llalapalm curio, viewing Bushmen paintings and then enjoying a sundowner over the majestic Motloutse River. Back at the Kgotla, dinner is enjoyed around a large log fire after which the night is spent sleeping under the stars while listening in on the cacophony of sounds generated by the African bush orchestra. We spend another night at Kgotla Camp. Therefore you can opt to have a lie in or enjoy another activity. As it is a more relaxed day there is enough time in the afternoon to head to the archaeologically rich Mmamagwa hills where a 360 degree view of the reserve can be enjoyed as well as another beautiful African sunset.

4 Another early rise and a good breakfast around the log fire before setting off once again on your chosen adventure. As this is the longest ride for the rest of the group, you will probably get to Liana camp before they do. But you can welcome the riders in with an enticing cold beverage from the bar. Tonight you can join the rest of the group on a game drive vehicle and try to locate the elusive leopard, wild dog, cheetah and lion the area is well known for. Today is your last day in the bush and begins with your final early morning tea/coffee and breakfast snack over the open fire. Enjoy a nice lie in while the riders take their horses back to the stables. Meet them as they arrive back at camp to enjoy a hearty brunch to get ready for departure. Then it's off to Pont Drift in time for your return transfer to Johannesburg. After breakfast you can once again wave farewell to the riders as you head off on a different route through the reserve. Your guide will drop you off at your next destination, the big skied Zeederberg camp. Lunch is under the bows of an old Mashatu tree, where a century ago the Zeederberg transport riders had their midday break before finally reaching Fort Tuli. Spend the afternoon at leisure before you embark on a guided walk into the bush. The evening is enjoyed with sundowners under a around a log fire and a delicious meal sees the close of another exhilarating and rewarding day. Once again you can explore the reserve as you wish and meet the rest of the group back at our base camp- Two Mashatus. A relaxing afternoon can be spent on the deck of your tent or in the lounge followed by a sundowner overlooking the Limpopo River. Listen to the elephants playing in the river or the lions roaring in the distance as another sumptuous dinner is served in the llalapalm rondavel. A dreamless sleep no doubt awaits you as the final day draws to a close.

Accommodation is in A frame tents on comfortable beds with sheets and duvets. Facilities include a bucket shower and bush-wc. Meals are cooked over a camp fire. Nestled in the shade of a centurion Mashatu tree, two traditionally built Lala palm rondavels serve as dining area and lounge. Accommodation is in big A frame walk-in tents pitched on teak platforms, with en-suite enviro loo and hot water shower.
