The inmates are not permitted to replace the items by taking similar items from anywhere else in the hostel. The inmates are not allowed to keep and use any electrical appliances (Induction stove, Iron box and Home Theater etc.,) of their own in the hostel. The hostel mess is run on No Profit, No Loss basis as dividing system is followed in calculating the mess-rates. Joining the mess is compulsory for all the inmates of the hostel.
