We are aware that the hostel will take into consideration our child s conduct in the selection and renewal of hostel accommodation applications. The rules and regulations of AJC Hostel are spelt out in the hostel handbook. 2. In the event of a medical emergency, we hereby authorise AJC Hostel to act on our behalf in getting emergency medical treatment as may be required for the health and welfare of our child. AJC Hostel will provide timely updates to parents or guardians on any situation. 3. We understand that we must pay all fees in advance and must pay within 7 days prior to the commencement of each semester. 4. We appoint and authorise the guardian named above to give consent for leave application, indemnity form, permission for outings etc. on our behalf in our absence. 4 Anderson Junior College (AJC) Hostel, located at 191 Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 Singapore , is an integral part of AJC and shares AJC s vision to foster a vibrant learning community where caring leaders are groomed to be best for the world. AJC Hostel provides a safe and conducive learning environment where students are developed holistically through pastoral and community programmes. AJC Hostel consists of two 11-storeyed blocks to accommodate 600 students in twin-sharing rooms. Each hostelite will be provided with a single bed (drawers underneath), a 2-door wardrobe and a writing desk with drawers and bookshelves. Hostelites will get to enjoy common facilities within the hostel compound including cafeteria, computer room, gymnasium, laundry room, multi-purpose hall, music room, pantries, study rooms and TV lounge. Fees are payable per semester (21 week semester inclusive of the one-week vacations). There is no refund of fees if a hostelite does not stay during weekends or the one week school vacations in March and September. The fees for mid-year and end-of-year school vacations are charged separately. 3. Fees paid are not refundable if a hostelite decides to withdraw from the hostel early. Page 4 of 8
