Allen 9/26/2009 Leroy Johnson 27 M shot and killed by his brother, Brandon Lee Johnson Allen 4/11/2010 Carmen Ramos 33 F shot multiple times and killed by her boyfriend and father of her children, Thomas Manjarez, III Allen 6/26/2010 Jeffrey Spence, Jr. 28 M stabbed to death by his brother, Jeremy Spence Benton 11/27/200 Christine R Craig 40 F shot and killed in front of her 16 yr old daughter by Steven Farrell - Craig and Farrell planned to be married that day. Craig has three other children. DeKalb 3/26/2010 Wayne King 38 M shot by police after he shot his wife, Dawn, and held her hostage for more than 5 hours. She was then flown by helicopter to a hospital. King also fired at the officers from inside the house. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Page 1 of 9

2 DeKalb 1/1/2010 Melissa Kay Patrick 32 F shot by her boyfriend, Ronnie Jones, who also shot at but didn't kill his ex-wife, Sarah Grimm and her boyfriend, Jason Patrick, Melissa's estranged husband. Delaware 12/13/200 Crystal Ann Curtis 27 F stabbed to death by her husband, Thomas Curtis who said he does not remember doing it and cannot explain his actions. He suffers from post traumatic stress syndrome. Grant 3/25/2010 Paul "Byron" Nose 42 M shot himself after killing his estranged wife at her mother's house. There was a history of domestic violence and the couple was in the midst of a divorce. Grant 8/7/2009 Heidi M. McKinney 40 F Shot by estranged husband, William McKinney Grant 8/7/2009 Shannon Lowe 30 M friend of Heidi McKinney also shot by William Grant 8/7/2009 William T. McKinney 46 M shot himself after killing his wife and her friend Grant 3/25/2010 Amy J Nose 39 F shot by estranged husband Byron, at her mother's house. He then shot himself while police were trying to talk him out of the house. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Page 2 of 9

3 Hendricks 4/15/2010 Marjorie Bellows 73 F died of stab wounds to head and arms, inflicted by her son Bart in an attack on March 28. He claimed he thought she was going to shoot him with a shotgun, but police found no other weapons in the house. Howard 4/9/2010 Rebecca Berg 57 F stabbed to death by her daughter's ex-boyfriend, Jeremy Blanchard Howard 4/9/2010 Jessica Berg 28 F stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend, Jeremy Blanchard. She had filed for a restraining order against Blanchard. Howard 4/9/2010 David McPike 62 M stabbed to death by Jeremy Blanchard. David was hosting the Bergs who were in town for Rebecca's mother's funeral. Lake 4/9/2010 Beverly Thompson 62 F died of blunt force trauma to the head inflicted by her husband, Douglas, with help from an employee of his, Reginald Coleman Lake 8/27/2009 Eboni Richardson 19 F shot and killed by her father,cordell Richardson, as he was returning her to her mother after visitation. He then shot himself, but survived. Lake 7/24/2009 Mya Lee 21 F hit with a brush by her mother's boyfriend, Stacey Daniels - fall caused her to fall and hit her head - Mya died in a Chicago hospital where many bruises were found on her body and head Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Page 3 of 9

4 LaPorte 9/12/2010 Christine Lindsey 39 F shot and killed at her home by her ex-husband, Clayton Lindsey, who had previously been convicted of battery in LaPorte 11/10/200 Tonya Earley 30 F shot by her ex-boyfriend, David Streeting, as she was waiting for the school bus with their two children - he fled the scene but later shot himself. LaPorte 9/12/2010 Chad Zolman 39 M friend of Christine Lindsey - shot outside Christine's home by Clayton Lindsey LaPorte 11/10/200 David Streeting 41 M was found dead in his car of a self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after he had killed his ex-girlfriend in front of their two children and a bus full of elementary school children. LaPorte 3/14/2010 Caitlin Wolpinek 19 F shot in the neck by her boyfriend, Jeffrey Maldonado - police had been called to the apartment in November to investigate reports of gunshots Lawrence 7/16/2009 Jamison Essick 7 mo M died of blunt force trauma to head after beaten by his mother's boyfriend, Casey Garrison. Lawrence 10/7/2010 Denise Caraway 48 F shot multiple times by her husband, Larry Caraway Police had investigated previous domestic disputes between the couple. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Page 4 of 9

5 Lawrence 9/2/2009 Jason Lee Joy 35 M shot multiple times by his ex-girlfriend, Susan May - May and Joy were both homeless and staying with a friend at the time of the shooting. Marion 3/14/2010 Larry Self 45 M shot in head and neck during fight with his long-time domestic partner, Joseph Sachse - Sachse then buried him in the back yard of their home Marion 3/1/2010 Daunte Roberts 36 M dead of gunshots in apparent domestic murder-suicide. 4-yr old boy also shot in head was found by police when they entered the apartment. Marion 11/20/200 Deneisha Watford 28 F strangled by her boyfriend, Robert Sarver, who was also charged in another domestic battery case 2 weeks earlier Marion 3/1/2010 Nicole James 35 F dead of gunshots in apparent domestic murder-suicide. 4-yr old boy also shot in head was found by police when they entered the apartment. Marion 12/10/200 Brittany March 18 F shot by her boyfriend, Corey Dix, after they had been arguing Marion 2/20/2010 Elizabeth Newcomer 24 F shot by her fiance's mother's boyfriend, Elwin Hart Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Page 5 of 9

6 Marion 7/18/2009 Jeremiah Williams 8 M killed by shotgun blast by his mother's ex-boyfriend, Joshua Germany. Two others were injured, not fatally. Marion 8/26/2009 Kathleen Vargas 79 F died from injuries from a 7/18 severe beating assault by her boyfriend, Monte Ayres,47. Marion 2/20/2010 Linda Nickle 61 F shot by boyfriend, Elwin Hart, during an argument about the house they were living in and rehabing. Marion 12/10/200 Corey Dix 19 M shot himself after killing his girlfriend, Brittany March Marion 12/2/2009 Ruth Cassaday 75 F shot herself after killing her husband Marion 9/30/2009 Claudia Sanchez 21 F stabbed to death by her common-law husband, Juan Alejandro Silva Capulin. Her husband, Richard, was arrested - many weapons and explosives were found in the house Miami 1/7/2010 Stuart K Wolfe 39 M shot by police who were responding to a domestic disturbance - Wolfe pointed a handgun at the officer. Montgomery 8/21/2009 John C Hall 52 M beaten to death by his girlfriend's son, Justin Morris, who then set the house on fire to cover up the murder Posey 11/21/200 Jon David 43 M shot by his girlfriend's ex-husband Putnam 1/13/2010 Kathryne Bledsoe 31 F shot in face by husband, Jeremy, after telling him she wanted a divorce - their children were in the room Scott 11/8/2010 Robin Everitt 59 M shot by step-son, Jason Uhlenbrock Scott 10/28/200 Jacob Lord 2 M died form severe head trauma inflicted by mother's boyfriend, Jason Hensley Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Page 7 of 9

8 Spencer 11/2/2009 Alexis Oesterle 15 F died from neck wound inflicted by step-father, Ryan Lee Shelby St Joseph 8/19/2009 David Lawton 30 M shot multiple times by his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend, Arden Balmer, who was shot in the shoulder by police after a lengthy standoff St Joseph 10/9/2009 Cherlyn Reyes 21 F shot by her boyfriend, Brice Webb, after arguing throughout the day. St Joseph 6/19/2010 Anthony Echols 31 M shot by his ex-girlfriend after he broke into her house and attacked a friend she had staying with her because she was afraid of Echols - she then grabbed her gun and demanded that he leave - he attacked her and she shot him St. Joseph 4/17/2010 Nicholas Simeri 50 M shot himself in the head after shooting his ex-wife, Lisa. St. Joseph 4/17/2010 Lisa Martin-Simeri 49 F shot in the chest by her ex-husband who then shot himself Steuben 12/18/200 Kevin Mote 56 M died due to numerous ax strikes to his head inflicted by his wife, Norma Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Page 8 of 9

9 Vanderburgh 4/10/2010 Alyssa Lynch 8 F killed in house fire set by her mother's fiance, Jeffrey Weisheit Vanderburgh 4/10/2010 Caleb Lynch 5 M killed in house fire set by his mother's fiance, Jeffrey Weisheit. Wabash 3/8/2010 Jennifer Parrett 27 F shot in her car by Ryan Hunt over a dispute about custody of their 2 children. Hunt then shot himself. Wabash 3/8/2010 Ryan Hunt 30 M shot himself in a neighbor's yard after killing Jennifer Parrett, mother of his 2 children. Wabash 7/2/2009 Lisa Pattison 36 F died of asphyxiation due to neck compression and was found with a weight bar on her throat. Her husband, Scott Pattison, who says he's innocent, has been indicted by a grand jury. Wells 10/27/200 Amy White 28 F shot in the chest by her husband, Tyler White during a domestic dispute regarding custody of their 16 month old son. They were scheduled to appear in divorce court the following morning. Whitley 11/18/200 Debra Houser 49 F Rodney Houser, Debra's ex-husband confessed to killing her although her body was not found until a month later - the Housers had a history of abuse; their 9 yr old son said they had been fighting the night before she disappeared. Whitley 3/18/2010 Kaylin Doggendorf 14 F strangled to death by Joshua Wright after he raped her Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Page 9 of 9
