Spirited travellers plan for the unplanned. Bringing your car, campervan or caravan with you allows you the freedom to pack whatever you like and go wherever you like with no time constraints. So pack as much as your vehicle can carry. As the land and city skyline gives way to endless glistening ocean, you can engage all of your senses on deck or simply curl up in a comfortable spot to watch the world sail by.

4 SEE MORE WHEN YOU SAIL BYDAY For those who like a view with their journey, Spirit of Tasmania operates day sailings during summer and high demand periods (September - May). Day sailings depart from each port (Melbourne and Devonport). As the land and city skyline gives way to endless glistening ocean, you can engage all of your senses on deck or simply curl up in a comfortable spot to watch the world sail by. Once you ve had your fix of the ocean breeze, there s plenty more distractions on board listen to local musicians in The Terrace Lounge Bar or catch a new release movie in one of two cinemas. During the summer and autumn school holidays the whole family will be kept entertained with face painting, circus performers, trivia and disco bingo. Drink in the twinkling lights of the city or the endless starry skies across Bass Strait, then wake up and you re ready to set off into the unknown. An overnight journey with us is far from dull. And with floor-to-ceiling windows, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the view. DAY TICKETS There s no need to think about accommodation with a Day Ticket (only available on day sailings). And with no fasten your seat belt signs on board you re free to explore the indoor and outdoor areas to your heart s content.
