7 Shilpa Sathi: Emerging Initiatives Single Window Cell comprising of representatives of various Govt. Departments, is functioning at WBIDC s office building to expedite the clearances from different Govt. Departments. Task Force: To ensure expeditious disposal of applications by the 6 concerned Departments, a Task Force has also been formed by the Govt. Relationship Manager: Senior Officers nominated as Relationship Managers for facilitation of some major projects. Project Facilitation Committee: Committee at the Project level for day-today hand holding Emerging Initiatives Unique Industry-Government interface: Sector Committees, formed with a mix of senior bureaucracy and business leaders, to deliberate on sector challenges, recommend policy initiatives and suggest streamlining of processes. Steering Committee, comprising the heads of Government Departments as well as business leaders, headed by Industry Minister. Core Committee formed with Department heads and business leaders, is headed by the Chief Minister.
8 IT, ITeS & Electronics Hardware/ Electronic Systems Design & Manufacturing (ESDM) sector 7 Brownfield Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs) to boost the sector. 2 Greenfield EMCs at Naihati and Falta under implementation with assistance from Govt. of India The industrial units in these EMCs will be eligible for benefits under Modified-Special Incentive Package Scheme 2 Hardware Parks at Sonarpur and Kalyani.
