32 TANJUNG ARU ECO DEVELOPMENT (TAED) TAED is a eco - friendly integrated development project which will be designed by leading international architects Boney The project received support from the Federal Government and it is in line with the Economic Transformation Program (ETP) Components-Hotels, villas, condominiums, eco signature golf course, residential area, marina, entertainment venues, beach club and restaurant 775 acres, beachfront site seeks to celebrate eco-tourism in Kota Kinabalu, a popular gateway for travellers visiting both Sabah and Borneo. The plan will rejuvenate major focal points of the city including Prince Philip Park and Tanjung Aru s three beaches Land ownership by State government; whereby 20% is reserved as Green Space and 30% - 40% is for sale The project will be parcel to 7 zones, Local Development, Maritime Zone, Tanjung Aru Beachfront & Prince Philip Park, Waterfront Residential, Resort Hotels, Marina Zone dan Executive Golf Course & Academy. 34 GONDOLA (CABLE CAR) TO INOBONG SUBSTATION, PENAMPANG A proposal under the C&C EPP Greater KK New Opportunities Inobong Substation is an hour drive from Kota Kinabalu. Located on the western tip of Crocker Range Park with an altitude of 1400 ft asl. Inobong Hill itself is famous as a Salt Trail. Activities such as jungle trekking, conservation studies and sightseeing are also done here. Its cool climate and a spectacular panoramic view of Kota Kinabalu and all of the islands overlooking the waterfront could be seen from a vantage point. The mountain terrain and scenic qualities makes it a natural choice for tourism development particularly a Cable Car system supported by other tourism products such as accommodation, cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops and public amenities. 37 SABAH AGRO INDUSTRIAL PRECINCT (SAIP) Envisages to become a new centre of excellence in agro-biotechnology that optimizes the State s biodiversity and abundant natural resources to produce higher value-added food and specialty products based on botanicals, aquatic plants and animals.. Located at Kimanis, Papar with an estimated area of 215 acres. SAIP places greater emphasis on the development of the knowledge capital business Assist and support startups and SMEs in developing their businesses. SME Incubation program was launched in 2014, designed to establish SAIP as an Incubator Centre. The 1Agro-SAIP program is to prepare and empower potential agri-entrepreneurs, saw 5 training programs organised in An EPP, SAIP will serve as a test-bed for carrying out biotech-driven R&D. 38 KENINGAU INTEGRATED LIVESTOCK CENTRE (KILC) To be a premier Breeding Centre for dairy and beef cattle in spearheading Sabah cattle industry in a sustainable and competitive manner. An area of 834 hectares, amongst one of biggest livestock cattle farm in Malaysia 38 km from Keningau town and 29 km from Nabawan Altitude of 1509 feet ASML Average mean temperature( c) Adjacent to Sook River The KILC project will be developed based on a 3-tier system, that is Nucleus, Multiplier and Commercial farms. Total Herd Population (as at March 2016) is 1,175 Project Outcome is to reduce the importation of dairy cattle and to reduce the Deficit caused by the importation of beef and dairy product.
