1 Conference Guide This guide is a practical reference for participants at the 2018 PCS 4 th Annual World Pathology Conference (WPC-2018). It provides an instruction about all aspects of logistics, transportation and recommendation and other tips. 1. Programme and schedule has been re-arranged and it has been finalized in accordance with all delegates travel schedule. Please check your final speech time in attached program below. 2. Please deliver your speech with a PowerPoint in English version. The Speech will be allocated minutes per speaker and for general speech, the time should be controlled within that time including question time. Coping your PPT with a disc is not acceptable because we do not have VCD player. 3. To ensure your files will be working appropriately in our computing system, you could check your document in our laptop one day prior to your speech. Generally, all speakers are requested to use our laptop unless your file or video cannot be displayed in our system. Apple device and MicroTouch sometimes are not matched with projectors at the meeting room. Please ensure that you have another copy of your presentation or you should prepare an appropriate cable for your laptop. 4. All speakers, please arrive at least 15 minutes earlier prior to your session starting and copy your presentation to the laptop in the meeting room. For some of sessions sharing the same meeting room with others, please come into the room before the first session starting. 5. The duties of the Session Moderators (Session Chairs) and the script of chair remark will be given as a reference when you arrive to pick your name badge at registration desk. 6. Group Photo All participants and their family members are welcomed to attend the group photo which will take place at 08:40-08:55 am on 14 July. The gathering time is at 8:30 am next to conference registration desk. 7. Welcome Reception A welcome banquet will be arranged in the evening of 14 July. Time: 19:30 Meeting Point: Registration Desk Dress code: No requirement Please note that the accessibility is in accordance with a valid ticket in your name badge if you have pre-registered for the Welcome Banquet. Registration will open as the timetable below Posters boards will be erected on 13 July. You could leave your poster to us on 13 July or you can set up by your own on 14 July morning. Kindly remind you that attendance certificate will be ready for collected after 13:00 pm on 14 July at conference registration desk. For the delegates without pre-registration, there are no printing certificates. You can require your certificate via . 8 NOTE: You need to buy 2 or 3 tickets if you choose public transportation. The payment depends on how many vehicle you use (of course you don t need to buy a separate ticket for the metro replacement bus), 350 HUF(1.3 EUR)/ticket; if you buy on the vehicle: 450 HUF(1.5 EUR)/ticket, for the 100E airport bus: 900 HUF(3 EUR)/ticket. Other Tips Visa- Please check whether you are ready to go with a valid visa Please double check with your local embassy for further information. If you need a visa to enter Hungary, the tourist visa is highly suggested instead of a business visa for attending our conference. Please note that the organizing committee will not take any responsibility for your visa application, all delegates should arrange their own in advance. (b) Family member of an EU citizen: If a family member of an EU citizen who is not an EU citizen himself/herself holds a temporary or permanent residence permit in another EU country, he/she does not require a visa. Visas ARE required by all visitors not covered by the above. Where a visa is required to visit Budapest, for a stay of up to 90 days you will need to apply for a Schengen (short-term) visa. But please note the following: Visas are not available at border crossings or at Budapest Airport. If you require a visa and arrive without one, you will be refused entry to the Hungary. More information, please inquire your Hungarian embassy in your countries. Currency Hungarian Forint is local currency. Please convert your money to Hungarian Forint in your country or at the airport in Hungary. Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) dispense cash is not working for all of cards. Credit cards are accepted at hotels or big shopping malls. 10 Itinerary of Half Day City Tour in Budapest Picking up of group at 2:30am in the lobby of conference hotel 13 July, pm-6.30pm Details of the tour Visit the most beautiful sights of the capital. Get an overview of the city, take a look at the most beautiful and imposing buildings of Budapest during the city tour. You are going to visit both parts; Buda (the hilly) and Pest (the flat side). At Pest we show you monumental buildings of the 19th century such as the Central Market Hall, East Station, Embassy District, the Great Synagogue, take you to the giant Stadium and to Heroes' Square where you can see the statues of the most important heroes of Hungarian history; in the amusement quarter we show you the Zoo, Széchenyi Spa, Vajdahunyad Castle, City Circus and the famous Amusement Park. On the nicest promenade of Budapest (Andrássy Avenue), beside many famous buildings there is the State Opera House and former villas of noble families. Continuing the tour we reach the city centre, pass by the largest romancatholic church, St. Stephen s Basilica. The next building to see is the House of Parliament which is the largest and nicest building in Hungary, situated on the bank of the River Danube. Then we cross the Danube to reach the other side of the city, the hilly Buda. Here we visit the Castle District - Matthias Church, Fishermen s Bastion and the old town with medieval houses. Finally we take you to Gellért hill to show you a breathtaking view from the panoramic terrace. Next to it stands the Citadel, a former military fortress built in the middle of the 19th century used now as a touristic center with a hotel, cafés, exhibitions, casino, disco etc. Furthermore we show you the Statue of Liberty, a giant female figure representing the freedom and independence of Hungary. During Budapest city tour we will have three stops at: Heroes' Square, Castle District and at Gellért hill. After visiting, we go back hotel. (Visiting order might be changed according to time)

11 Itinerary of One Day Tour to Szentendre and Visegrad Picking up of group at 9:30am in the lobby of conference hotel Details of the tour Szentendre as center of the Greek Ortodox Church in Hungary and home of many artists of different sorts of art. - Main square of Szentendre with original Baroque houses left from the 18th century - Catholic Parish Church in the city center on the hilltop on medieval base (if it s open you can visit the inside as well) - Picturesque view of the Danube and the roofs from the terracce by the church - Duna Corso (walking passage along the river in the city center) - City Hall (from outside) 16 July, 2018 Visegrad is famous because of its Royal Castles (Citadel on the hilltop + Lower Royal Castle) left from the 13th century, built by King Bela. For a shorter time it used to be home of the royal court and also the Hungarian Saint Crown was guarded here for a while. The Citadel of Visegrad hosted an important event, the so called the Royal Summit in the 14th Centrury with those countries, what are called today the Visegrad Countries. - Inside visit of the Citadel of Visegrad (with some exhibitions inside the Castle) -Outside visit of the lower Royal Palace and Solomon Tower (named after King Solomon according to a false story) - One of the best views of the Danube Bend from the Citadel After visiting, we go back hotel.
