2 Reason: The owner of this airline is beyond retirement age and intends to withdraw from business activities. There is no successor. Sales Package: In the package included is the Executive Jet company (airline = AOC holder), a second company which acts as a charter broker (also for third party aircraft) and a third company which owns the aircraft. The company provides air transportation to a solid base of regular customers in the Ruhr district and beyond. For third party aircraft, the brokerage company provides broker and management services. 3 Short History: The airline was founded in May 1969 and thereby became one of the first ever companies in Germany in the business flights segment. Following the take-over of another executive airline in March 1974 the flying licence was up-graded to cover aircraft over 5.7 tonnes also. Today the airline operates its own business jets for up to 9 passengers and it is licensed by the German Federal Minister of Transport as an aviation company for aircraft over 5.7 tonnes. It is therefore automatically subject to all safety and quality standards which "large" airlines also have to meet and which now apply uniformly throughout Europe. Our regular customers include traditionally the higher management of many large companies from all sectors of industry, primarily - but not exclusively - from the Rhine/Ruhr region. The steadily growing demand for aircraft for larger groups as well, something which cannot be met by the airline s own fleet, led in May 1992 to the foundation of a dedicated charter company, which is concerned exclusively with chartering of aircraft of any required size from other airlines. In addition, aircraft management is provided to other owners of business jet aircraft. In brief this means that the owner of an aircraft whether a company or a private individual - places all the tasks connected with the operation of his own aircraft in the hands of us a professional and reliable partner and we integrate the aircraft in our existing fleet. The commercial managed use of private or corporate owned aircraft in the context of an approved aviation company makes sense simply because it is an essential condition in one crucial respect: Only then is it possible to exploit the possibilities of tax depreciation, something which is in principle not open to aircraft operated on a purely private basis.
