9 Spadina Subway Transit Strategy Service on the subway extension is planned to start at the end of 2017 YRT/Viva routes will be restructured at the start of 2018 to provide connections to new subway stations in Vaughan Integration with the subway will focus on route directness, service frequency, and ease of fare payment

10 Frequent Transit Network (FTN)

11 Dial-a-Ride (DAR) Service Expand Dial-a-Ride services during periods of low demand and into new low demand areas Develop a spectrum of services that combine conventional service, DAR routes and zones, and Mobility Plus services Provide connections between DAR services and higher order transit including the Viva network and the Frequent Transit Network

12 Integration with Durham Region Transit As part of the Durham Region Transit (DRT) Rural North Service Strategy and Five Year Service Strategy, DRT has proposed enhanced connections between Durham Region and York Region. Proposed DRT Route 601 Brock - Uxbridge 2016 Proposed Initiatives: Route 601 Brock-Uxbridge (Beaverton-Wilfrid- Cannington-Sunderland-Udora-Uxbridge) Proposed route realignment to extend service to communities along the northern York-Durham boundary Route 960 Uxbridge-Newmarket New service with connections between central Uxbridge and the Davis Drive 404 Park and Ride in Newmarket (pending approval from Metrolinx) Proposed DRT Route 960 Uxbridge - Newmarket 2017 Proposed Initiatives: Implement service along the Highway 7 corridor from Brock Road in Pickering to east Markham as the Seaton community is developed
