CEO Richard Santulli launches the revolutionary concept of shared aircraft ownership, with Clients buying a share of an aircraft. Warren Buffet purchases a share of a NetJets aircraft. NetJets Europe introduces Shared Ownership to the European private aviation market. After three years as a satisfied Owner, Warren Buffett, Chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Inc, acquires NetJets Inc. Access to an aircraft is guaranteed with as little as 10 hours notice. And should your aircraft type not be available, NetJets Europe will upgrade your booking to a larger aircraft type at no additional cost. THE PRIVATE JET CARD You may also choose to enjoy the benefits of NetJets with no long-term commitment. Requiring a single upfront payment and no capital investment, a Jet Card provides guaranteed access to the NetJets fleet with as little as 24 hours notice. 10 THE BEST PILOTS, TRAINED TO BE EXCEPTIONAL NetJets pilots are the best of the best. They have proven their skills in the toughest aviation environments: military combat missions, senior air force positions, and top commercial airlines. And although all our pilots are first-class when they join us, we turn them into world-class by nurturing their talent through the most comprehensive training programme in the industry. In fact, NetJets invests more in training than any other private jet company, and more than many commercial airlines. We have our own flight simulator in which we conduct NetJets-specific pilot instructor training and assessments for new captains, including unique exercises for mountain airports and remote destinations. What s more, our pilots only train for and fly one single type of aircraft, so their responses are always confident and intuitive. We also insist on experience far beyond the regulatory minimum. The legal requirement for a captain is 1,500 flying hours however, a NetJets a captain must have at least 3,000. And while 195 flying hours qualifies for a First Officer, we insist on a full 1,500 hours. It means that your NetJets flight always has two captain-standard pilots in the cockpit. So you can relax knowing you re in safe hands
