Quilálea is a registered Five Star accredited PADI Resort, which ensures the highest standard of training safety, equipment maintenance and breathing air. The lodge has a current and resident PADI Instructor. The dive centre makes use of the internationally known Mares brand of equipment. There are many activities on offer for children staying at Quilálea such as: Diving for kids (for children aged 8 10) can learn how to dive on the Bubblemaker course diving in the pool with a fully qualified PADI instructor, receiving a fun crew pack when they have completed the course. For children 10 years and over, they can do a Discover Scuba course which includes a sea dive to a limited depth. There is also an option to do the PADI junior open water course. In accordance with International and Mozambican Credit Card Banking laws, guests wishing to settle their accounts by Credit Card will be charged in Meticas (Mozambican currency) even though prices are quoted in US Dollars. VISAS: All citizens (excluding those who hold passports from Botswana, Malawi, Mauritius, Swaziland, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe) require a visa for entry to Mozambique.
