3 Itinerary Day 1: Arrive Johannesburg An A&K welcome and assistance to the airport hotel. InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo (Deluxe Room) Day 2: Johannesburg - Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve This morning return to the airport for flight to the world famous Kruger National Park. On arrival you are met and transferred into the wildlife rich Sabi Sand Game Reserve and your lodge located on the banks of the Mabrak River (B,L,D). Dulini Lodge (Cottage Suite) Days 3-4: Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve Two days on safari in the game rich Sabi Sand where the Big Five is well represented as well as other rare animals, such as cheetah and spotted hyena. Various antelope species can also be seen, as can giraffe and warthog. The area is also well known for some of the best leopard experiences in Africa. An ample array of bird life, ranging from water birds to birds of prey, will keep ornithologists absorbed (B,L,D). Dulini Lodge (Cottage Suite) Day 5: Sabi Sand - Benguerra Island This morning you will be transferred to Mpumalanga airport to join your flight* to Vilanculos, Mozambique. On arrival transfer for your flight to Benguerra Island and your luxury lodge. An exquisite piece of paradise in the middle of the Indian Ocean, Benguerra Island is a magical destination where time stands still. With just 17 thatched villas with private plunge pools, the luxurious Aruza Benguerra is nestled along one of the last undiscovered stretches of beach in the world. (B,D). Azura Benguerra (Luxury Beach Villa). Days 6-7: Benguerra Island Two days spent on idyllic Benguerra Island, the second largest in the Bazaruto Archipelago. This Indian Ocean island paradise is famous for its pristine beaches, unspoiled coral reefs teeming with marine life and excellent fishing opportunities. Your stay includes a cultural island drive to visit the local school, island sights, and the community as well as a sunset dhow cruise.
