Israel Deaf Sports Organisation (IDSO) is pleased to host the European Deaf Basketball Championship Qualifying Tournament at the sports hall "Hadar Yosef" with the participation of teams from Germany and the Great Britian and host Israel. This brochure are detailed with information host Israel, city, hotel and sport hall. The IDSO will handle shuttle from airport to the hotel and back at the end of the tournament and a hotelsports hall-hotel line. The organization also enables the deaf from all the parts of the country to participate in various sports within a special society where they can communicate with each other. This is the organization of the deaf for their sake: to develop sports in the community for everyone regardless of age. Advancement of sports is supported by the opportunity to participate in the country as well as the leagues and tournaments and also aboard by high caliber athletes representing Israel. The sports activities are open to all deaf citizens of all races, creed and gender

Tel Aviv is the first Jewish city founded by the Zionists as a Jewish settlement outside the old city of Jaffa and has a population of around 400,000 people. Tel Aviv metropolitan is especially known as the technological centre of international caliber, and is also known as Silicon Wadi all over the world. Over the years, many international technology-oriented companies chose to set up their plants and offices here. In the city there are several tourist sites, but a large number of tourists coming to the city also find the city useful for business activities or convenient as a base for them to travel to other parts of the country. The most important tourist site in Tel Aviv is the continuous beach. Along the beaches are many high-class hotels, residential buildings and offices. Additional tourist attractions are Old Jaffa, Neve Zedek, and "White City", which UNESCO has authorised as an important cultural centre because of many surviving Bauhaus residences
