Adventure and educational trips are to some of the most exciting destinations on the planet - every trip with RVA is different, every time. Each experience is unique. THE CAMP: Situated in a corner of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, 19km from Nanyuki in the shadow of Mt Kenya, lies the RVA Ol Pejeta Camp. Complete with a large lounge, mess tent and outdoor sitting area, the camp can accommodate any size group in comfort and privacy in our traditional safari tents. The camp boasts a custom built mountain bike skills course and climbing tower. Here you can enhance your skills before taking on the large crags and mountain bike trails nearby. The wildlife is spectacular, on a good day you can view black rhino, elephant, lion, impala, warthog, bushbuck, and giraffe from the comfort of our lounge tent.

4 LAIKIPIA DAY TRIPS OL PEJETA CYCLE SAFARI Bikes are provided for a full or half day guided cycle on Ol Pejeta. Ride through open plains alongside giraffe, zebra and other game - a whole new way of observing wildlife from the traditional safari game drive ; a safety vehicle accompanies the group. Full day includes a fun bike skills course for all levels of riders at our camp. HALF DAY USD70 FULL DAY USD120 CANYONING IN NGARE NDARE Canyoning in Ngare Ndare involves a series of water jumps into crystal clear rock pools followed by abseilling down a 30m the gorge, once the jumping has started the only exit is to complete the canyon. We can also combine this activity with Rock Climbing. FULL DAY USD120 CANOEING, KAYAKING & RAFTING The Ewaso Nyiro River near RVA Ol Pejeta Camp is the perfect place to canoe down small rapids through farmland. HIKE MT KENYA The rugged and beautiful terrain of Mt Kenya makes for a beautful hike in one of Africa s most picturesque mountain scapes. Our treks take you through thick forest onto rugged moorland and up to the pristine glaciers that cascade down the peaks at 5,199m. 6 OL PEJETA CYCLE SAFARI What better than the opportunity to cycle through the African savanna alongside some of Kenya s most spectacular wildlife. This trip takes you across the plains of Ol Pejeta teeming with wildlife, and vistas of Mt Kenya as a backdrop. The full-day trip includes a fun bike-skills course at RVA Ol Pejeta Camp for introductory to advanced riders. Meeting point: OPC Golf 2 (Rongai Gate) Time: Full day 8am - 3pm Half day: meet at 10am - 1pm. 7 CANYONING It s a winning combination: beautiful, clear rock pools surrounded by towering trees and cliffs, waterfalls, and a pristine forest setting. This is one of our most popular activities and takes place in Laikipia s private and beautiful Ngare Ndare Forest. A series of water jumps into deep pools followed by abseils down waterfalls. A brilliant day out with levels of challenge for everyone. Meeting point: OPC Golf 2 (Rongai Gate) Time: Full day pm. 8 CANOEING & KAYAKING Departing from just near RVA s Ol Pejeta Camp we canoe down the Ewaso paddle where you can peacefully pass through the rural countryside enjoying watching people carrying on with their every-day lives. 9 RAFTING How about a wild ride down some of Kenya s best rapids. We leave early for a day out on the Tana River - these rapids move from tranquil open pools to grade 4+ white water over 8-16km of river depending on water levels, great for families as well. 10 MT KENYA MOUNTAIN BIKING After initial technical training you head off to Mt Kenya for the ride of a lifetime! Our 35km crossings, boulder hopping and fast switchbacks through the beautiful Mt. 11 ROCK CLIMBING & ABSEILING We use our climbing wall at our Ol Pejeta Camp to teach you the basics of top rope climbing before progressing onto real rock at Ngare Ndare Forest and other crags near by. Abseiling down 25m cliffs overlooking Northern Kenya is an activity you will not forget. On the way back we can stop at the canopy walk in Ngare Ndare forest. 12 HIKE MT KENYA At 5,199 metres, Mt. Kenya s summit is blanketed by glaciers and snow, spectacular hike will reach Pt. Lenana, just under 5,000 metres. There are popular trails, but as with all RVA s trips we take you off the beaten track. Local knowledge and year s of experience have allowed us to map our own routes well away from other climbers. The trip climaxes in a sunrise summit with some of the most memorable views you ll ever experience.
