2 General Package Information The town of Terrace is reached via direct flights to and from Vancouver, British Columbia. Your Heli- Skiing/Boarding vacation commences with your arrival in Terrace on the evening of the first day of your package. You should plan to arrive in Vancouver by mid afternoon on that day in order to make the connection to Terrace where you will arrive at approximately 19:00. A company representative will meet you at the airport and will accompany you to the lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge you will check into your rooms and meet for an informal orientation to the lodge and its amenities. A brief orientation to our program will be accompanied by a glass of champagne and tapas. After a day of travel we are sure that your pillow will be calling soon. For those looking for a night cap, our lounge is open until 22:30. spectacular terrain deep powder every day! Your first morning is busy with several safety briefings. A hearty breakfast is followed by an introduction to our skiing program and the weeks schedule. We will review our skiing and safety procedures and your pilot will go through a helicopter safety briefing. All guests will be required to sign our Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement, a copy of which is printed in this Booklet. heli-skiing with snowcat back-up heli-skiing and boarding perfected Heli-Skiing/Boarding offers the ultimate in mobility and access to vast skiing areas. Our tenure, over 5,500 square kilometers, is one of the largest in the world and offers a multitude of skiing options from huge open bowls and glaciers, to the steep and sheltered trees. Our location in BC s remote northwest offers one of the deepest and most reliable snowpacks on the planet, and with Snowcat back-up, we enjoy it every day! When the weather is great we re usually enjoying the huge alpine bowls and glaciers with descents of more than 1650 vertical meters (5,500 feet). As the snow starts to fall and the visibility is reduced we move into the subalpine and the trees where the snow is deep and protected. When it s snowing so hard it becomes impossible to fly, we ll still be enjoying that fresh powder at it s deepest with the aid of our new Snow Cats. It s the best combination imaginable! Heli-Skiing and Boarding perfected! You will be grouped according to your skiing desires and abilities. Every effort will be made to keep groups that are traveling together skiing together. However, we reserve the right to build the groups according to our safety guidelines. You ll notice that this is a reoccurring theme in everything we do; Safety First! The rest of the week follows a more relaxed schedule: 07:30 Breakfast and guides daily announcement 08:30 09:00 Helicopters depart for skiing 12:00 ish Lunch a hearty meal in the mountains 15:30 17:00 Return to the lodge (weather and group dependent) 17:00 ish Après ski snacks in the lounge 19:00 Dinner The last day of your skiing/boarding package is a full day. You will return to the lodge at the regular time and you ll have plenty of time to clean up and change prior to checking out. A light meal will be served prior to departing for the airport. At this time we will be taking reservations for next year and making plans to see you again soon. You will arrive in Vancouver by approximately 21:30. We recommend you spend the night at either of the fabulous Fairmont Hotels, the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel or the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel.

The AAS may not always inflate and may not protect the user against trauma during an avalanche. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS - AVALANCHES, ALPINE TERRAIN, WILDERNESS TRAVEL, WEATHER ETC. I am aware that wilderness activities involves risks, dangers and hazards.
