In fact, if you re looking for outback adventure, you don t even need to leave the city! 2 OUTBACK ADVENTURES IN THE CITY OF MELB Here in Melbourne, Shannan checks out the top experiences that are all within 30 minutes of Flinders Station As a Sydneysider himself, Shannan calls on a few native Melbournite friends for their expertise squeezing the most adventure out of this city. Shannan starts his journey in the heart of Melbourne Flinders Street Station. He s called on friend and Melbourne native, The Bachelorette, Georgia Love to find him an adrenalin pumping activity, as this is a girl who knows how to take the plunge. When they meet in front of a seemingly typical city building, Shannan doesn t know what he s in for. Georgia introduces him to high rise rap jumping or abseiling down a building face forward. Harnessed in Georgia and Shannan run 7-stories down the side of a building. It s a combination of the thrill of bungee jumping but with the control of abseiling. For his next adventure Shannan asks his mate and comedian Lehmo for some accommodation tips for the night. Shannan hears penthouse but Lehmo has infact said tenthouse. When Shannan meets up with Lehmo on the rooftop of St Jerome s in the heart of Shannan realises this isn t your average hotel. It s rooftop glamping 5 star camping in the city. Here they can relax with a beer and some tucker while watching the sunset over Melbourne while sharing a laugh. The same relaxing experience as regular camping, but with queen beds instead of sleeping bags and city lights instead of stars! To finish off his outback adventure, Laurina Fleur, who survived the wilds of Africa, suggests they try some sunset kayaking, on the Yarra River. It s a classic camping activity but with a city backdrop and all less than 15 minutes from Flinders Street.

3 Rap Jumping: Urban Central is the jump site in Melbourne. It s a 7-story building where you can Rap Jump, or abseil; face first, from top to bottom. Urban Central also have a deck where your friends can watch and take photos of you on your jump.
