3 Art Hour This week project, paint a mini bird house. Please RSVP with the Activities Desk at ext #3010. The cost is $8 per person for either class. Meet in the Grand Room in Building #1. BINGO G-13! Bingo! Come on down for some good ol fashioned family fun. Located in the Day Use Room $3/card Prizes for 1 st and 2 nd place winners. RSVP with Activities. Breck Brewery Beer Tasting Enjoy the taste of the Rockies with beer brewed right here in Breckenridge. This event includes 6 beers to try and a coupon for the brewery. Cost is $10 per person and participants must be at least 21 years of age. Please RSVP by NOON at ext #3010. Located in the Day Use Room in Building #6. $5/person no show/late cancellation fee. Coffee with Kelley An opportunity to meet with Kelley Jensen, the General Manager of Grand Timber Lodge. Walk-ins will be welcome to discuss questions about ownership and the property. Meet in the Grand Room in Building #1, no RSVP necessary. Cupcake Creations Come create delicious cupcakes in the Day Use room. Cost is $1 for 2 mini cupcakes. Please RSVP with Activities by NOON. Max 10 people. Eco-Friendly Crafts Decorate a reusable canvas bag, make a necklace from magazines & twine, and paint mini flower pots. $10/person. Family Movie Night Tuesdays at 7pm, we will be showing a family friendly movie in the Grand Room in Building #1. No RSVP necessary. Ghostly Tales Tour Explore the darker side of Breckenridge with this walking tour through town. Learn about ghastly folk, tragic love, murder and mayhem. Meet in the Grand Room at 7:15pm. Please RSVP with Activities by 4:30pm. $20/adult, $15/Child. No Refund if cancelling after 4:30pm. Glass Etching We have glass beer mugs and wine glasses in which you can place stencils on and etch your own design. $8 per glass, please RSVP with Activities. Located in the Day Use Room. Not recommended for kids under 18. Guided Hike We have a few hikes from beginner to intermediate levels that we can rotate each week. $5/person. Minimum of 2, max of 8. Please RSVP with Activities by NOON. Keychain Critters Create cute key chains out of pony beads! Choose from patterns such as an owl, frog, raccoon, parrot and more! $3 per keychain. Located in the Day Use Room of Bldg 6, please RSVP. Kids Camp We have 3 consecutive hours blocked off where kids can come for one or all. We will have a different activity scheduled for each hour, encompassing crafts, games and outdoor fun. $15/hour per child. Ages 6-12, min of 2 kids max of 8. Please RSVP with Activities by NOON. Orienteering Course Learn how to read and use a compass to find hidden markers around property! This activity is timed and top times will be put on a property leader board. See Front Desk or Activities Desk for instructions and clue sheet. Photography Walks Guided by professional photographer Timothy Faust, take either a historical walk or a mild guided hike and learn about how to take better photos. $18.40/person. Children under 12 are free if accompanied by parent. Please RSVP by 4pm with Activities. Poker Tournament Ante up! Join us for our weekly game of Hold-em Poker. Located in the Day Use Room $10 buy-in / $5 buy back-in. Please RSVP with Activities. Ready Paint Fire Paint Session Decorate a piece, and have it fired with a glaze finish. Items vary from $10 - $40 each. Please RSVP with Activities. Will be located in the Day Use Room in Bldg 6. Scavenger Hunts Please visit the activities desk to inquire about on and off-site scavenger hunts. Shuffleboard Tournament Test your skills with our on-site tourney! $5/person, min of 3 people. Prizes depend on number of participants. Please RSVP by 4pm with Activities. S mores Gather around the campfire for a treat! Meet at the fire pit outside the Lodgepole Bar & Grill! $3 for 2. Parent must be present. Please RSVP with Activities by NOON. Weather permitting. Suminagashi Marbleize paper using special paints that float on water. You can turn it into a card ($5) or a small journal ($10). Please RSVP with Activities. Located in the Day Use Room. Survival Bracelets Both fun and functional, learn to make a bracelet handy in the wilderness. Please RSVP with Activities at ext #3010. The cost is $8 per bracelet. Located in the Day Use Room in Building #6. Tie Dye T-Shirts Tie Dye a T-shirt for $15, or bring your own shirt for $10. RSVP requested with the Activities Desk in Building #6. Meet in the Day Use Room in Bldg 6, min 3 people required. Wild West Tour Step back in time with Breck s Gold Rush History. Must be 21+ yrs as one beer is included. Meet in the Grand Room at 4:45pm.RSVP by 4pm. $22/person. Approximately 90 minutes. Yoga Classes Start your day off with a rejuvenating yoga class. Reservations should be made with the Front Desk by 9pm the night before the class. A minimum of 3 students is required and it costs $10 per person. Located in the Mezzanine in Building #1. 5 Resort Features, Services & Hours Activities Desk Our Activities staff would be happy to assist you in booking any activities during your stay at the Grand Timber Lodge. Stop by, dial ext or call Resort Shuttle The Grand Timber Lodge offers a complimentary around town shuttle service. Service hours vary by season. Guest pick-up and drop-off is located at the base of the stairs outside Building 1. The Grand Room The Grand Room is located in Building #1. Complimentary billiards and a Wii console are available. Please see the Front Desk to check out equipment. A fire place, plenty of seating area, and a flat screen are available on a first come first serve basis. The second level also has a small library. Ice Machine Ice machines are located on the ground floor of Building #6, and on the first floor of Building #7. The Front Desk in building #1 also has access to an ice machine. DVD Players To operate the DVD player press the Input button on the TV remote, which brings up a menu. From that menu, press the Input button again to start viewing your DVD. To return to the TV press the Input button repeatedly until you see the TV option. Select the TV option. Coffee Maker Fill the back reservoir with water, place the filter in the basket and fill with coffee. The coffee will brew and the front reservoir will fill with coffee. Place a cup in front and press the silver button. Coffee serves one cup at a time. Sundries Shop In need of some basic groceries, or toiletries? Swing by the Sundries Shop inside the Lodgepole Bar & Grill. Items can be charged to your room. NEW! Game Room Located on the 3rd floor of Building #2, this room is now equipped with a Wii, bumper pool, poker tables and various games. Access to this room can be granted at the front desk in building #1. Room Temperature Control Thermostats are located in each residence to regulate the base board heat. Due to our high alpine climate, your residence does not have air conditioning, but you will find a box fan and evaporative cooler in your closet. To cool your room, fill the evaporative cooler with cold water and ice. Opening windows and doors will help cool the room as well. In addition we recommend turning your thermostat to off rather than just turning it down. If you would like additional assistance, please dial 0 to reach the front desk.
