I wish to announce the coming of the Mounted Archery Workshop on March 12-14, 2010 at Macha's Dragon's Den Farm! This intensive workshop is open to all target archery and equestrian marshals or those hoping to become a target archery or equestrian marshal. Bring your horse and be part of a mounted archery demonstration on Sunday. Irish Feast April 10, 2010 Shire of River's Bend Cowlitz Co, WA Come join the goode folks of Rivers Bend on "De Nile. Like Kurdish General Saladin; in 1168 Saladin established his presence in Egypt. We will re-experience Egypt of the time by Horacing around with Bardic and A & S competitions, Subtly, Pied-Piper activities, Egyptian games and fighter workouts weather permitting. Bardic : competition will be a bi-level event. Experience consisting or people who have been in 7 or more competitions and the novice being people who have competed in 6 or less events. The following areas are open to entrants: vocal, instrumental and story telling. There will be extra points awarded for theme biased entries. Event Copy Guidelines for The PLUME This checklist is intended as an aid in the proper submission of event copy to The PLUME. All copy for events at which official business is to take place must contain ALL of the information below for the enlightenment of the populace, legal, insurance, and tax purposes. (Note: This list is an aid only, you do not need to submit it with your copy.) Required Items Date of the event (day and month) If the event will not be held during the Common Era year noted on the front cover of the newsletter, the announcement must also include the Common Era year. The time of the event: when the site opens and closes. The name of the sponsoring group: Only SCA events will be published. The location (name, street address, and town) of the site. The postal code should also be included if available. The name and address of the autocrat (both society and modern).
