GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION 1. REGISTRATION AND FEES WILL BE PAID PRIOR OR AT CHECK IN. 2. EQUIPMENT: EACH UNIT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING ALL EQUIPMENT IT NEEDS TO CAMP. NO EQUIPMENT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR LOAN AT CAMPOREE. 3. FIRES: ONLY FIRE WILL BE ALLOWED WILL BE AT THE FRIDAY NIGHT CAMPFIRE AND THE SATURDAY NIGHT CAMPFIRE PROGRAM. NO EXCEPTIONS 4. UNIFORMS: CLASS A UNIFORM WHEN ARRIVING AT CAMP, SATURDAY FLAG RAISING CLASS A, AND FOR ALL ACTIVITIES TROOP T-SHIRTS OR CLASS B. SUNDAY CLASS A UNIFORM TO DEPART BACK IN. 5. CONDUCT: CAMPOREES ARE DESIGNED TO ENABLE THE SCOUTS TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR LEADERSHIP AND SCOUTING SKILLS. THE BEST WAY TO DO THIS IS OBEY THE SCOUT LAW. NO NIGHT RAIDS,HAZING, BULLYING, AMBUSHES, UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT WILL BE CAUSE THE INDIVIDUAL AND/OR UNIT TO BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITHOUT REFUND. LET S ACT SCOUT LIKE AND HAVE FUN. 6. HONOR: A SCOUT S HONOR IS NUMBER ONE! IF YOU SEE SOMETHING LYING AROUND AND YOU CANNOT FIND THE OWNER, BRING IT TO THE CAMPOREE STAFF AREA, AND IT WILL BE PLACED IN THE LOST AND FOUND. REMEMBER, THE SCOUT LAW APPLIES TO SCOUTS OF ALL AGES. 7. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES /DRUGS/ SMOKING AT CAMPOREE SITE. THIS IS A NATIONAL COUNCIL POLICY. ALL PRESCIPTION DRUGS WILL ON THE REGISTRATION FORMS AND CAMPOREE STAFF MEDICAL PERSON WILL HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ALL PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. 8. CURFEWS: ALL SCOUTS MUST BE CAMPSITES AND QUIET BY 11PM NO NOISE BETWEEN 11PM TO 6AM. 9. ELECTRONIC DEVICES: WE ARE HERE AT A CAMPOREE TO HAVE FUN AND COMPETE WITH FELLOW SCOUTS. ELECTRONIC DEVICES TEND TO BE BROKEN, LOST OR STOLEN, YES STOLEN! AND THEREFORE ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE CAMPOREE. THE ONLY EXCEPTION WOULD BE A SMALL HAM RADIO, GPS, FOR THE RADIO MERIT BADGE OR GEOCACHING. ANY DEVICE SEEN WILL BE CONFISCATED AND RETURNED ONLY WHEN THE UNIT IS READY TO LEAVE THE CAMPSITE AREA. NO EXCUSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO YOUR UNITS. 10. LEADERSHIP: TWO DEEP LEADERSHIP IS A NATIONAL COUNCIL DIRECTIVE. LEADERS MUST BE YOU YOUTH PROCTECTION TRAINED, AT NO TIME WILL SCOUTS BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE CAMPOREE AREA WITHOUT AN ADULT LEADER OR PARENT, AND MUST SIGN OUT AT THE DESIGNATED AREA. UNIT LEADERS WILL FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF THEIR OWN SCOUTS AND OR UNIT PARTICIPANTS AT ALL TIMES. 11. FIRST AID: EACH UNIT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING ANY MINOR FIRST AID CASES TO THE MEDICAL STAFF, SO IT CAN BE RECORDED. IF IT IS SO DEEMED TO TRANSPORT OR REMOVE THE VICTIM FROM THE CAMPOREE, THE CAMPOREE STAFF ADULT WILL RETRIEVE THE FORM. A BLANK FORM FOR PHOTOCOPYING IS CONTAINED IN THE CAMPOREE GUIDEBOOK. 12. TRADING POST WILL BE RUN BY THE ORDER OF THE ARROW 13. SANITATION: ALL UNITS ARE EXPECTED TO USE THE UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS REGARDING SANITATION IN AND AROUND THEIR CAMPS. UNITS WILL NEED TO CARRY OUT THEIR BAGGED TRASH TO THE DESIGNATED AREAS FOR COLLECTION OF ALL TRASH. RESTROOM FACILITIES WILL BE ON SITE AND

THOSE LABELED WOMEN ONLY ARE TO BE USED BY WOMEN ONLY. THOSE LABELED HANDICAPPED ARE TO USED ONLY BY THOSE WHO NEED THEM, AND MEN ONLY WILL BE USED BY SCOUTS. ( BUT NO SCOUTS AND LEADERS IN SAME RESTROOMS AT THE SAME TIME. PORTA POTTIES WILL BE AVAILABLE ALSO. 14. JUDGING : CAMPSITES AND GATEWAYS WILL BE JUDGED FOR AND CAMPSITES CLEANINESS, POINTS WILL AWARDED DURING THE WEEKEND ALSO. SO BE CAREFUL AND AWARE OF WHAT CAN APPROACH YOU AT ANYTIME. IF A SITUATION ARISES THAT NEEDS TO RESOLVED THE JUDGEING CHAIRMAN WILL BE THE FINAL DECISION. 15. TROOP FLAGS: EACH TROOP IS TO CREATE A FLAG BEFORE ARRIVING AT CAMP. IT IS TO HAVE THE ZOMBIE SURVIVAL THEME, AS WELL AS YOUR TROOP AND PATROL NAMES. BE CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN WITH IT. THE FLAG IS BE BROUGHT TO THE OPENING CEREMONY ON SATURDAY MORINING THEN TURNED IN BY AND TO THE SATURDAY CAMPFIRE CEREMONY. a. FLAG REQUIREMENTS : FABRIC FLAG ON 6 FT POLE, TROOP NUMBER ON FLAG, ZOMBIE SURVIVAL THEME, AND PATROL NAME. 16. VEHICALS: ALL VEHICLES WIL PARK AT THE PARKING LOT, NO BICYCLES WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE RIDEN INSIDE OF CAMPSITE AREA. 17. MEDICALS: IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GUIDE TO SAFE SCOUTING, EACH TROOP WILL PROVIDE COMPIES OF CURRENT MEDICALS FOR THE CAMPOREE FIRST AID STATION FOR THE DURATION OF THE CAMPOREE. MEDICALS WILL BE RETURNED SUNDAY MORNING UPON CHECKOUT. 18. CAMPSITES: YOUR PATROL AREA WILL BE ASSIGNED WHEN YOU CHECK IN. KEEP YOUR PATROL CLOSE TOGETHER AND WITHIN YOUR CAMPING AREA. LAY OUT CAMP FOR SAFETY AND CONVENIENCE. SET UP COOKING AND EATING AREAS. ALL COOKING IS TO BE DONE IN ASSIGNED PATROL CAMPING AREAS. 19. WATER: WATER SUPPLY WILL BE AVAILABLE AT CAMP. DO NOT WASH DISHES AT WATER TAPS. WASTE WATER IS TO BE DISPERSED OF PROPERLY. DO NOT DIG HOLES! SCOUT POLICY IS TO WIDELY DISPERSE GRAY WATER. FILTER AND TREAT AS TRASH ALL SOLID WASTES. 20. ALL EMERGENCYS HANDLED BY STAFF AND SCOUT LEADERS. COMMUNICATION IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A SAFE AND FUN WEEKEND. 21. DO NOT CUT THE TREES OR BUSHES IN THE AREA. THESE TREES ARE A RARE TYPE CALLED SALT CEDAR AND COME ALL THE WAY FROM RUSSIA. 22. NO PETS ALLOWED AT CAMPOREE EITHER, BESIDES BEING ISSUES, SOME OF THEM MIGHT GET EATEN FROM PREDITORS IN THE AREA.
