Has the Project Development Objective been changed since Board Approval of the Project? Both project implementing agencies, the Geodetic Authority of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FGA) and the Geodetic Authority of Republika Sprska (RS GA), have already implemented a large number of procurement packages related to working premises, furniture, vehicles, surveying equipment, ICT and social services and launched key project activities. RS GA has started to implement the core project activity of establishing of the Real Estate Cadastre (REC). The first REC establishment locations have concluded, 53 new locations have been opened for public display and preparatory activities are on-going in 59 others. In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBH), the parallel activity to harmonize cadastre and land registry data is being tendered for the first 6 Cadastral Page 1 of 11

Municipalities (CM). Associated social activities, Vulnerability Mapping (VM) and Social Monitoring (SM), are on-going in both Entities. Both GAs have strengthened their institutional structure to manage ICT infrastructure and an interim solution for the long-outstanding issue with the land registration software maintenance in FBH has been found. Judiciary training on sectoral legislation has started in RS. In parallel, the European Union financed orthophotography campaign has delivered all materials to the GAs providing a perfect spatial base for the REC establishment and harmonization. Finally, complementary projects by the governments of Sweden and Norway provide technical assistance, capacity building and material support to both GAs.
