Include current conditions and your vision for the copleted project. Project easureent: 5,900 Feet Miles Acres To convert an existing unauthorized ATV trail into a bicycle-pedestrian trail that would connect a densely settled part of town to a new Sanford High School and Regional Technical Center. This would be the second phase of a project that was begun in 2016. Work involves grading loose, gravely surface, spreading additional crushed gravel and stone dust and copacting the finished surface. Gates/bollards and signs would be added to control access and educate users. In addition, additional work will be done to repair existing erosion fro stor-water runoff at the end of Boothby Ave and the end of Norand Ave. 5. What is the scale of the project? If winter use, will winter parking/access be aintained? There will be aple parking at new Sanford HS/Tech Center and liited parking at other trail heads. Access to the trail will be at Breton Ave, Norand Ave and Boothby Ave The trail will be finished with a sooth, fir surface suitable for all non-otorized users including narrow wheeled bikes and wheelchairs. Eventually, the trails coittee would like to have the trail lit and aintained for winter use but additional funds will need to be secured first.
