ON TOUR Educational tour which is very enjoyable and great fun Not a family holiday, you don t have the same freedom to do what you want when you want We will have a tour guide around Venice. Full attention, no talking when the guide is talking Respect Holy places

CODE OF BEHAVIOUR EACH STUDENT SIGNS UP TO THE CODE OF BEHAVIOUR

Behaviour Good behaviour is vital for the trip to be a successful, very enjoyable experience School rules still apply Time keeping- if someone is late, this leads to disruption of itinerary, frustrated bus drivers, frustrated classmates and angry teachers

Drinking alcohol, smoking and drugs strictly forbidden Beware of people on the streets selling stuff

Students will be divided into groups of about 7-8 with a group leader reporting to an assigned member of staff No student at any time is to be on their own Listen carefully to instructions on meeting times and places When entering shops, bring someone with you, especially if you intend on haggling. If you haggle, be realistic, some shop keepers can get very aggressive

Road Safety Always use pedestrian crossings Wait until lights change/cars stop Cross in groups, always pay attention and cross quickly Keep in on the footpaths and be courteous to other pedestrians Wear seat belts and stay seated on the bus

As we have a very busy itinerary, we will not be able to deviate from our schedule. It will not be possible for students to make alternative arrangements to meet up with relatives, family friends, etc.

Hotel Belvedere 3* Hotel

Meals in the Hotel Queue in an orderly fashion Normally self service, only take what you know you will eat, you can always go back for more Discretely get your lunch Don t leave the dining hall until given permission to do so Special dietary requirements

In the Hotel No messing or shouting on the corridors or in the bed rooms. Normally a balcony in each room, potentially very dangerous. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE BALCONY. Students are only permitted into their own room unless a teacher has given permission and is present Lights out means, turn off lights in the room. Students are in bed, not going to the toilet, having a shower etc), and no more talking.

Where possible, students decide themselves who they share their rooms with. If there is trouble in the room, all in the room are punished. Choose wisely If you are having difficulty sleeping, we have ways of assisting you

THE NO s No bad language No relationships No talking, making noise or being out of your bed once lights are out No creating a ruckus when entering the hotel at night, other guests will be in the hotel No wondering off on your own No boys in girls rooms or vice versa, unless a staff member is present

Any serious misbehaviour, (including drinking or involvement with drugs), YOU WILL BE SENT HOME

YES s Enjoy the holiday and have a safe, entertaining & memorable time
