The contract was awarded to the private company TECSAN and includes the design, build and operation of the sanitary landfill and separation plant, as well as the closure and remediation of a dump. Works are estimated to start on June 2014, which would allow the conclusion of the construction phase by the project time frame. Nevertheless, the time frame is tight (12 months) and the works will have to be executed without delays. The rest of works for the project, in Mar del Plata, Virch-Valdez (Chubut) and Rosario have been finalized and are Page 1 of 8

currently in operation. To date 76% of the loan is executed and the remaining 24% is allocated for works on Mendoza (Zona Este) and the full implementation of the Social Inclusion Plans. The majority of the project indicators are expected to be met or have already been met, with mainly the indicators on social inclusion plans pending. Ongoing activities include: - Reviewing of the design proposed by TECSAN for the sanitary landfill in Mendoza. - Development and implementation of Social Inclusion Plans in Mar del Plata, Chubut, Mendoza and Rosario.
