Some numbers from WCIF 2009 At the 10th WCIF in 2009, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, and 6 Heads of States attended the opening ceremony. 70 ministerial officials worldwide, 65 China s governors and ministers, as well as 157 directors of international business associations and 580 renowned entrepreneurs both domestic and overseas also participated in 100 more activities. 1339 investment projects were signed, with an investment volume totaled approximately 86.6 billion US dollars. The overall trade turnover reached around 21.1 billion US dollars.

The EU Project Innovation Centre (EUPIC) Non-profit trade promotion organization established in 2006 Jointly supported by the EU, China State Technology & Science Bureau, China State Commercial Bureau, Sichuan provincial government, Chengdu municipal government and Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial zone. The EU's only project incubation centre in China. Until now partnership with 26 organizations from 27 EU member countries, including trade & investment promotion service agencies, regional industrial associations, and S&T research institutions, etc.. 1. six months full equipped offices for free 2. Organising, building, and maintenance of the stands Full-time presenting officials enabling company visits without losing presence in the stand Special needs including screens, large demos etc. should be discussed in advance with the organiser
The trade fair package (tentative) 2. Preparations and organising of the matchmaking meetings in the fair 3. Joint seminar focused on selected theme 4. Visibility in the publications of the fair 5. Two company visits for each participating company 6. Meetings with local intermediary organisations
