VENUE: 151 Pearson St; Elberta, MI 49628. DATE AND TIME: Tuesday April 29th, 2014 @ approximately 1138 hours. :

SUPPLEMENT I received a phone call from President Pro Temp from the Village of Elberta ROBIN ROMMEL stating that they had a building that was donated to them. The building in question was a 30'X40' red pole barn that was located at the old Coke Fuel plant in the Village. The property is owned by Elberta Landholding Company SCOTT GUEST and was donated to the Village for storage Etc. Due to the size of the building the Village Counsel gave permission to KEN BONNEY to have it disassembled and taken to the Village offices. ROMMEL stated that on this day she received a telephone call from DAVE BOWER who was driving on Grace Rd and noticed BONNEY driving the trailer with the steel on it toward his property on 6 mile Rd. BOWER asked ROMMEL why the Village would sell the building and that BOWER would have liked to have put an offer in for the building. ROMMEL stated that she had no idea what BOWER was talking about so as ROMMEL got to the Village office she noticed the building steel was missing. INTERVIEW (DAVE BOWER): I made a telephone call to BOWER regarding what he had seen, BOWER stated to me that he was traveling WB on Grace Rd when he saw KEN BONNEY driving EB with a trailer full of the steel that was donated to the Village. BOWER stated that he knew it was BONNEY because he knew the truck and waved to BONNEY and BONNEY waved back. BOWER then made a phone call to BONNEYS brother KEVIN BONNEY to ask about where his brother got the steel. KEVIN BONNEY stated to BOWER that "it must be the one that SCOTT GUEST gave him". BOWER then stated to me that he phoned ROMMEL to ask her if she had any idea what was going on and ROMMEL replied no. INTERVIEW (SCOTT GUEST): I made a phone call to GUEST to ask if he had given BONNEY permission to take the building. GUEST stated to me that he donated it to the Village of Elberta and that was the last place it was. INTERVIEW (KEN BONNEY): I called BONNEY and asked him if he knew why I was calling in which he replied "no". I asked BONNEY if he was aware of the polebarn steel that was behind the Village offices in which BONNEY replied "yes". I then advised BONNEY that I had received a report of larceny of the steel and that his name had come up as the person of interest. BONNEY stated to me that "this was ridiculous, that he needed his trailer because he was building a pig barn and because Frankfort lumber yard was going out of business he wanted to get a lot of lumber". BONNEY continued saying "the steel was on my trailer and had been sitting on it for a couple of years and that he needed his trailer and since Completed by MILLER, GEOFFREY ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW Date / Time Investigations Review Date / Time 05-05-2014 10:33 Supervisor Review Date / Time Records Review Date / Time

SUPPLEMENT there was no where for him to put the steel without damaging it, he took it to his property on 6 mile." BONNEY stated to me that "I wouldn't ever steal anything from the Village, what do you think I'm crazy I work for them." BONNEY continued to state that "he just needed his trailer". I asked BONNEY if he was going to keep the steel at the property and he stated "yes because there is no place to store it in the Village." STOLEN PROPERTY: 30'X40' Red in color pole barn steel.
