Introduction Governance Institute is a non-profit organization supporting small and medium enterprises in exporting to Asia and importing from Asia. It serves Czech as well as Asian companies in entering new markets. It organizes events such as seminars, conferences or business trips for Czech companies. It also supports cultural events and actively works on research in the field of development and investment and export policy. Governance Institute provides services to Asian companies outside the Czech Republic as well as within the country. On the Czech side, it closely cooperates with Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, CzechInvest, Confederation of Trade of the Czech Republic, Technology Center of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Enterprise Europe Network and others. Other activities of the company involve support of the education of kindergarten teachers, and support of the tourist services for incoming Asian tourists from governmental institutions as well as private companies. CONFERENCE Asia Business Conference ASBUCO 2016 DESCRIPTION 1 st annual conference on the current state and future cooperation with the East, Southeast and South Asia. MAIN TOPICS The topic of the conference in 2016 was Asia in Czech Business: Where Are We Heading? Discussion on the current situation of export, investments and political cooperation between the Asian region and the Czech Republic was held and outlines for the future perspectives were drawn.
