Let me start by saying to one and all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 2017 brought us an array of gifts in various forms. For our family, it all started when Steve caught a cold from Shane. Our family went to Florida for Christmas to visit Steve and Patty. My soon-to-be brother-in-law (that s a lot of hyphens!), had a nasty virus hitch a ride down, which finally took shelter in Dad s lungs. His cold got worse as the vacation went. I was personally concerned when he appeared to need a caddy when we played 18 holes of puttputt. Finally, towards the end of the trip, Mom and the girls took him to get checked out. While Steve was in the hospital, Shane and I did some repairs to the dock. We were told that Steve needed a breathing treatment and everything was ok I had my suspicions though. We got all packed up and made the trip home. Once they knew we were home safe, we got the full scoop. Steve had a blockage in his corroded artery and needed some service work done to his heart. Everything turned out much better than what it was before it started, but the journey to get there was a rollercoaster. The ride finally slowed down and Steve feels better than he has in a long time. The next gift was the marriage of Amy and Shane Miles. They had a small ceremony at their house with some family and friends. Once the honeymoon was over, we were off to Memphisville. Like Father, Like Daughter; Amy gave us as big of a scare during her pregnancy as Steve did with his heart. Fortunately, God gave us experienced medical professionals and little Memphis Carl-Thomas Miles was born on July, 20 th 2017. Since then, it has just been baby madness around here. There you have it, a brief summary of what the Springer-Till-Miles family has to be thankful and merry about this holiday season. I hope your family has just as much to be thankful for. If 2017 has taught me anything about this rollercoaster of a life; whether you re going up or down at breakneck speeds, don t forget that there will be a slow, smooth finish at the end where everyone is smiling. Merry Christmas!
Page 2 of 7 Attention Polar Farmer s! Your first month of winter camping has been very calm, giving you an opportunity to get your RV s ready for some colder weather. There are a couple things I would like to go over for those who are new, or for those who are forgetful. Please remember that all Campground Rules & Regulations are still in effect throughout the winter; except rule #4, you may mow your grass anytime during daylight hours. Please take care of the restrooms. These facilities are for everyone to use and we will keep them in good working order. However, I do not have a person stationed at the bathrooms 24/7 so we need you folks to keep your messes cleaned up. If you see something that needs immediate attention, let us know in the parts store or call (937)368-3808 after hours. Cameras have been installed outside the restrooms with the intent to monitor and deter any vandalism. Please park your vehicles on the gravel in front of your coach to avoid leaving ruts in the grass. The shelter fireplace is there for you to use. Please be responsible and do not leave a fire burning unattended. Also, keep your activities confined to the stage, as we use the shelter for campground storage. This is also where the Wifi is located. The hose for water is located in the breezeway. You can hook it up to the faucet on the north end of the shelter. This hose is for all to use. Please leave the hose in the same, or better, condition than you find it. If you have a problem with the hose, please contact us. Make sure pets are on leashes, picked up after and not being a nuisance to your neighbors. Pets have and will be ejected from the campground. Finally, Make sure you have your LP filled by end of day (5PM) on Friday, the parts store is closed on Saturday and Sunday through the winter months.

OMG is this kid getting big. When you all get back in the Spring, don t be surprised if you see Memphis out in the campground pulling out tree stumps with his bare hands. Memphis first Thanksgiving was great. They are feeding him baby food now, so he was able to get a couple different flavors as opposed to just Similac yuk! Christmas is right around the corner, so if anyone is wondering what to get Amy and Shane as a gift; diapers will always work. He is in a 3 now but will probably be in the Paul Bunyan model by Summer. Memphis says, See ya next year!
