In Service to Crown and Barony, Elrique de Netterville and Sarah Rois Netterville Baron and Baroness of Raven s Fort From The Seneschal
Happy New Year to the Populace of Raven s Fort, Or War College event is fast approaching. This has become a fairly major happening for us drawing a crowd of all the right people. We want to make a good showing and send our guest home talking about what a great time was had by all. Please help make that happen. Lord Gavin is our Autocrat. I am sure he would appreciate all the assistance you can give him. Ask what you can do and I m sure he will find something that will give you a sense of accomplishment. Of course, work weekends will be in the mix. The Roman Wall that hides the new parking area by the list field needs to have the final touches completed. The bon-fire will need to be torched at a work weekend as the pile is ugly from boards and tin. Post need to be set and painted. Dead fall branches will need to be cleared from the common areas. Grass will need to be cut. The List Field and Stones will take a lawn mower cut. Last event Baron Brian and Daire did almost all the cutting. Many thanks for their efforts. It is easy to suffer from burnout so please bring out mowers to help lighten the load. My tractor is in working order now, so I will be able to brush-hog the Equestrian Field and some of the other areas. If you would like to come up on a date not mentioned as an official work weekend, please contact me and we can make arrangements for anyone that would like to work on the event or even your private campsite.
