Lake Bluff Fire Department personnel responded. The fire department personnel located a small leak at a ground fitting, and made notification to Nicor for its repair. There was no hazard. All units cleared. Animal Complaint 01/06/2019 20:07:47 2019-00000227 ARMOUR DR / WEATHERFORD CT Narrative: Officer responded to the area of Weatherford Ct and Armour Dr for a report of a dog running at large. The complainant advised that a medium sized brown or reddish dog was eating from several garbage cans that had been knocked over. The complainant attempted to catch the dog, however the dog ran away. The complainant wanted to notify this department in case anyone had reported one missing. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate any dog and cleared. Alarm Residential 01/07/2019 00:53:40 2019-00000238 WARRINGTON CT Narrative: Officers responded to the 0-100 block of Warrington Dr for an activated burglar alarm. Dispatch advised the alarm was coming from the garage door. Officers met with the homeowner who was on scene. Officers determined the cause of the alarm is unknown, but it was possibly from a faulty door detector. Officers noted irregularities and cleared. Traffic Problem 01/07/2019 13:12:21 2019-00000256 SKOKIE HWY / ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer assisted IDOT with directing traffic on N/B Rt. 41 near Rt. 176. Suspicious Person 01/07/2019 15:04:06 2019-00000258 NORWICH CT Narrative: Officers responded to the 100 block of Norwich Court for a report of a subject wearing a flannel long-sleeved shirt, vest, green cap, and jeans walking in the rear of the residence. Upon arrival, officer observed the Lake Bluff Water Department on scene. At the request of the complainant, officers stood by until she responded to verify our findings. No further assistance was needed and officers cleared. Assist Fire 01/07/2019 23:01:53 2019-00000265 LAKELAND DR Narrative: Officer responded with the Lake Bluff Fire Department to the 500 block of Lakeland Ave for an activated fire alarm. Upon arrival Officer met with the homeowner who advised she was having an issue with the fireplace and needed assistance resetting the alarm. Lake Bluff Fire Department members were able to fix the issue with the fireplace and reset the alarm. Officer cleared when advised to clear by fire command. Dispute 01/08/2019 09:13:24 2019-00000284 CAMPBELL CT / W KOHL AVE Narrative: Officers responded to Kohl Dr and Campbell Ct for a dispute between a resident and a work crew over a downed tree resting on low voltage wires near the 200 block of Kohl Dr. Officers located the subjects and learned the complainant has called multiple departments to have the tree removed from the wires, and was upset the crew would not remove it. The foreman stated he would call his supervisor, and if permission is given, would remove the tree.

Identity Theft 01/08/2019 09:25:06 2019-00000285 E CENTER AVE Narrative: A resident requested an incident be generated due to a suspicious circumstance regarding checks being deposited into her bank account that were not authorized. The complainant stated that on or about 01/04/19 she received information from Chase bank that National Louis University had deposited two checks, one for $1,870.00 and another for $1,850.00. On the same day a check from her employer was deposited in the amount of $1,550.00. She stated Chase bank was refunding the money to the two parties and have closed the complainant's account due to the fraudulent activity. The complainant had no other information to provide. A copy of the check from the complainant's employer is attached to this incident. Complainant requested the incident be documented and no other police service was requested. Fraud 01/08/2019 12:06:13 2019-00000286 MACLAREN LN Narrative: Officer responded to the 400 block of MacLaren Ln for a report of a fraudulent charge on the complainant's credit card. Assist Fire 01/08/2019 13:37:18 2019-00000288 CRESCENT DR Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of Crescent Drive for tree that had fallen and pulled down power lines in the ravine behind the residence. The Fire Department contacted Com-Ed and no ETA was given. The Fire Department stated they will remain on scene until Com-Ed arrives and no other police service was requested. Fingerprinting 01/08/2019 16:08:51 2019-00000292 E CENTER AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the PSB Lobby for a walk-in request for employment fingerprinting. Officer fingerprinted the subject and cleared. Assist Fire 01/08/2019 16:48:51 2019-00000293 THORNWOOD LN Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of Thornwood Ln for a tree that fell down across a driveway Thornwood Ln. The homeowner contacted tree removal. Lake Bluff Fire Department responded and verified that there was a small leak of gas coming from the ground, but no immediate hazard. The North Shore gas was contacted and responded. Assist Fire 01/08/2019 20:45:07 2019-00000296 E SCRANTON AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 100 block of East Scranton Avenue for an activated smoke/heat fire alarm. Lake Bluff Fire Department responded to the scene. Upon arrival, the tenant stated the activation was caused by burnt food. Officer stood by until no further assistance was needed and cleared. Motorist Assist 01/08/2019 21:59:45 2019-00000299 WAUKEGAN RD / ABBOTT PARK RD Narrative: Officer responded to Rt 43 At Abbott Park to assist Lake County with a vehicle that reportedly was pulled over with its hazards on. Officer was unable to locate the vehicle and cleared. Theft Under $300 01/09/2019 13:05:33 2019-00000322 ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to the 900 block of Rockland Road, for a report of a retail theft that occurred on 01/08/19 at approximately 2:00 PM. An unknown female removed numerous items from the shelves and left the store without paying. Items were totaled at more than $1000.00. Motorist Assist 01/09/2019 15:08:32 2019-00000326 GREEN BAY RD / ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to the area of Green Bay Road north of Rockland Road for a disabled yellow International in the roadway with a tow enroute. Upon arrival, officer observed the vehicle to be removed and cleared.

Suspicious Incident 01/09/2019 20:43:49 2019-00000331 E WOODLAND RD Narrative: Officers responded to the 0-100 block of East Woodland Road for a report of suspicious activity. The refused complainant stated various vehicles were parking in the driveway, entering the residence, then leaving a short time later. Upon arrival, officer observed an unoccupied vehicle parked in the driveway. No irregularities were observed and officers cleared. Officers found the exterior secure and observed no irregularities. No key holders were responding and Officers cleared. Ambulance Assist 01/09/2019 23:39:16 2019-00000337 E BLODGETT AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of E Blodgett Avenue for a lift assist. Officer arrived on scene along with Lake Bluff and Lake Forest Fire Dept. Lake Forest Paramedics assumed command. Subject to be transported to Condell Hospital emergency room for further testing. Officer stood by until properly relieved. Alarm Business 01/10/2019 01:22:36 2019-00000347 ALBRECHT DR Narrative: Officers responded to the 0-100 block of Albrecht Dr for an activated burglar alarm. Officers checked the exterior and found it secure and observed no irregularities. There was an interior alarm going off. Dispatch advised no key holders were responding. Officers cleared. Abandoned Vehicle 01/10/2019 09:28:13 2019-00000360 SKOKIE HWY Narrative: Officer was dispatched to the 0-100 block of Skokie Hwy for an Abandon Auto Investigation. The vehicle was located on private property and was not a hazard. Local workers related that the vehicle has been there for a few days. Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle, who related that it will be removed. There was a breakdown in communication as to relocating the vehicle. Officer will check on it during the duty shift and take action if necessary. Lost/Mislaid Property 01/10/2019 10:59:44 2019-00000363 S WAUKEGAN RD Narrative: Officer responded to the PSB to meet with an employee of the 100 block of Waukegan Rd who was returning a jacket and wallet that was taken mistakenly earlier in the day by another patient. Officer contacted the owner of the property and advised him that his property was at the PSB. He advised he would respond to the PSB tomorrow (1/11/19) morning to pick up his property. Officer placed his property into an evidence locker. Public Health and Safety 01/10/2019 14:46:04 2019-00000367 ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to the train tracks on Rt 176 for a report of a train that wasn't moving. Upon arrival, the train was moving and there was no hazard present. Officer cleared. Traffic Arrest 01/10/2019 17:41:59 2019-00000370 SHERIDAN RD/BUCKLEY RD Narrative: Officer conducted a traffic stop on Sheridan Rd at our north limits. The driver was arrested for speeding and driving while license suspended. 911 Call Investigation 01/10/2019 18:33:44 2019-00000371 BOARDMAN CT Narrative: Officer responded to the 100 block of Boardman Ct for a 911 misdial. Officer met with the homeowner who accidentally dialed 911 while attempting to dial out of the country.

Suspicious Person 01/10/2019 19:44:58 2019-00000372 ROCKLAND RD / GREEN BAY RD Narrative: Officers responded to the S/E corner of Rt 176 and Green Bay Rd for a report of a male subject sitting on the curb. Officers met with a subject who stated he got in an argument with his mom and didn't know where to go. He waited out the argument and then called his mom to pick him up. His mother picked him up and no further police assistance was needed. Business Assist 01/11/2019 09:52:55 2019-00000395 ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to the 700 block of Rockland Road for a VIN verification. Officer completed the provided paperwork and cleared. Motorist Assist 01/11/2019 10:43:56 2019-00000398 SKOKIE HWY / ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to S/B Route for a report of a disabled vehicle. Officer located the vehicle unoccupied with a flat tire. The vehicle was completely on the shoulder and was not an immediate hazard. Officer placed down a road flare and will return to check on the vehicle at a later time. Assist Fire 01/11/2019 12:42:03 2019-00000403 ALBRECHT DR Narrative: Officer responded to the 0-100 block of Albrecht Drive to assist the fire department with an activated fire alarm. The Lake Bluff Fire Department responded to the scene and determined the cause of activation was a faulty detector. Fire command noted no irregularities at the location and all units cleared. Animal Complaint 01/11/2019 15:27:36 2019-00000409 S WAUKEGAN RD Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of Waukegan Road for an animal complaint. The complainant advised that a golden retriever dog had been tied up in front of the restaurant for 45 min. Officer arrived and located the dog. The dog did not appear to be in distress and appeared to be in good health. Officer located the owner of the dog in the restaurant and advised him of the complaint. The owner of the dog advised the dog was fine and that they had been on a walk, and were leaving to continue the walk in a few minutes. Officer did not feel that any further police action was necessary and cleared. Animal Complaint 01/11/2019 17:27:08 2019-00000412 W HAWTHORNE CT Narrative: Officer responded to the 400 block of W. Hawthorne Ct for an animal complaint. The complainant advised that a large great Dane/lab mix dog that lived on W. Hawthorne Ct had been running at large. The complainant advised that the dog had been jumping on her and at the dogs that she was walking. The complainant stated that this was an ongoing issue, and requested that this department make contact with the owner however, was not interested in any citation being issued. Officer attempted to make contact with the owner of the dog at the residence which met with negative results. Officer will attempt to follow up at a later time. Missing Person 01/11/2019 22:21:14 2019-00000419 E CENETR AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the Lake Bluff Public Safety Building for a report of a missing person. The subject was subsequently located by officers. Noise Complaint 01/12/2019 00:38:09 2019-00000420 E NORTH AVE Narrative: Officer responded to the 300 block of E North Avenue for loud music complaint. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the homeowner who stated that they would quiet down. Officer observed no other irregularities and the complainant did not want to be seen. Officer cleared to resume patrol duties.

Accident Property Damage 01/12/2019 11:53:12 2019-00000440 GREEN BAY RD / THORNWOOD LN Narrative: Officer was dispatched to Green Bay Rd and Thornwood Ln for an Accident with no injuries. Upon arrival it was confirmed that there were no injuries and minor damage to the vehicles. One citation was issued. Lock Out 01/12/2019 17:47:01 2019-00000442 ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officer responded to the parking lot of the 900 block of Rockland Road for a vehicle lockout. The subject completed a waiver/release form and officer obtained entry. Lock Out 01/12/2019 18:02:38 2019-00000443 S WAUKEGAN RD Narrative: Officer responded to the 200 block of S. Waukegan Rd for an auto lockout. The owner of the vehicle signed the waiver/release form and entry was gained. Motorist Assist 01/12/2019 18:12:43 2019-00000445 CARRIAGE PARK LN / S WAUKEGAN RD Narrative: Officer responded to Carriage Park Lane at Waukegan Road for a report of a possible one vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officer determined that the vehicle was disabled and requested a tow. Officer provided the vehicle owner a courtesy ride to his residence and cleared. Alarm Residential 01/12/2019 20:03:35 2019-00000446 WARRINGTON DR Narrative: Officers responded to the 0-100 block of Warrington Drive for an activated overhead garage door burglar alarm. While enroute, proper code to cancel was provided. Officer verified accidental activation with the homeowner, noted no irregularities, and cleared. Theft Over $300 01/12/2019 20:32:35 2019-00000448 ROCKLAND RD Narrative: Officers responded to the 3900 block of Rockland Road for a report of a retail theft of ipads in progress. The complainant stated one subject left on foot towards the rear of the business and entered blue vehicle, possibly a Honda Civic. One subject was subsequently located in the parking lot of the 100 block of South Waukegan Road and taken into custody. The subject was charged with two counts felony Retail Theft, driving while license suspended, and operating a vehicle without headlights. Another suspect was subsequently located in the 200 block of South Waukegan Road. Battery 01/12/2019 22:04:19 2019-00000450 SHERIDAN RD Narrative: Officers responded to the PSB for walk in complaint of a battery that had just occurred. The victim was evaluated by the Lake Bluff Fire Department and transported by Lake Forest Ambulance 421 to Lake Forest Hospital for treatment.
