Lake & beach fishing Enjoy your days at our pretty fishing lake, which is stocked with carp (we even have some 30lb whoppers!), perch and roach, among others. To fish at our lake you ll need a rod licence plus a day ticket which is available for 5 per day or 20 for 7 days. Sand le Mere overlooks Tunstall beach, which is a great setting for sea fishing; so good that it s the venue for the European Open Beach Championship for 2013 and 2014, which is the largest competition of its type in Europe, if not the world. Common catches from the beach include mackerel, skate, cod and seabass. Boat trips can also be booked from Bridlington, with prices from around 30 for a six hour trip. The Deep The Deep is just a 5 minute walk from Hull Marina and is close to the City Centre.
